No due to come over i'm on 55k AUD a year, but keep hearing how expensive it is to live in Sydney so worrying a little but i'm sure I will be fine just wondered if it was an option to earn some extra money. But I am on commission so I can work on that. Thanks tickled pink

Thanks Jim! I will get them set up on Skype. I see you live in Manly Area. My job is North Sydney Turramurra, i've heard its pretty expensive for rental North Sydney, any suburbs close by which are cheaper? I would like to live close to the beach. Many Thanks Nat -
Hey, Me and my friend are moving to Sydney End December, I will be working in a medi spa North Sydney - Turramurra I've heard North Sydney is pretty expensive for rent, anyone know of any areas which is cheaper but not too far from my work location? Would like to live near the beach.

Hey, I'm a Beauty Therapist/Laser Therapist/ Skin Peel trained (international diploma). I've been offered the job in Sydney and they are just sorting out my Visa application now for Sponsorship 457 Visa. What are the next stages now? What do they check? what Medical checks do I need is it just chest xray? How long does it usually take? And any info on Medical insurance would be appreciated. I've worked in Australia on a WHV as a spa Supervisor so to come back I need sponsorship I'm happy I have now found a company to sponsor me. They sponsor 3 other girls as well. Has anyone's sponsorship ever been declined? look forward to hearing from you all who are already sponsored or are going through the process now...

I've been travelling to Australia 4 years ago had a fantastic time! Work isn't so great here at the moment and feel that with my qualifications as a dermal therapist/beauty therapist I would get more money and a better lifestyle over in Australia. Im currently going through the 457 visa, I'm very very close to my family and will miss them so much, I'm going to really struggle leaving them.......I'm looking to stay over for 1 -2 years but who knows what will happen. I'm excited/very nervous! Anyone else feeling the same?
