  1. Congratulations. Can you plz share your queue date and year of application lodgement?
  2. Hi Guys How many visas allocated for year 2016-17 for other family visa queue? Thanks
  3. Good luck to everyone specially who applied RRV in 2014..... hope Aged dependent relative will also get visa before they die? http://www.immi.gov.au/Live/Pages/family/other-family-visa-queue.aspx Based on current Planning Levels and the allocation of the majority of the Other Family places to the Carer visa category, it is currently estimated that Remaining Relative and Aged Dependent Relative visa applications that were lodged in 2014 and meet the criteria to be queued are likely to take approximately 56 years to be released for final processing (calculated from 14 August 2014).
  4. Guys I send a complaint (using the link - http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/services/services-form.htm) and receive the attached reply after about a month. I send them a big complaint... about many things related to this visa and also mentioned about the difficulties that a person could have to face in life, if he/she needs to wait for 16 years to get RRV visa....Also guys please note that you will always get a generic (copy-paste) reply for generic complaint...... you need to show your full frustration in your complaint in order to force the minister to write you a reply....you can see the second page of the attached pdf where they mentioned that they will consider my views as they started next year migration planning. Next, I am waiting for the elections to get over and then will harass my MP to take this matter further...I don't want to leave any stone un-turned as I strongly believe in the quote - " You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result for sure". Also this is not the task of one person to make this happen, everyone has to contribute their best....if you do not want to count the next year's planning level for RRV on your fingers.... reply from diac.pdf reply from diac.pdf
  5. I questioned DIAC that if they are not listening to me where should I approach to raise my concern. Below is the reply I get - So I will making a formal complaint using the below links in a day or two....if everyone can do the same then we might be able to raise our concern and possibly soon get a good outcome. http://www.ombudsman.gov.au/pages/making-a-complaint/complaints-the-ombudsman-can-investigate/immigration.php'>http://www.ombudsman.gov.au/pages/making-a-complaint/complaints-the-ombudsman-can-investigate/immigration.php http://www.ombudsman.gov.au/pages/making-a-complaint/ Dear Mr ....... 6. Thanks lazybones1987.....Done. Hope to hear "DONE" from everyone.
  7. Guys Unless everyone starts complaining about the processing time for RRV, nothing is going to change. May be for them everyone who applied for RRV has no problem to wait for 14 years? If still no one complains, then next year planning for RRV could the numbers that you can count on your fingers. You can complain using the below link and you dont need to mention you actual identity or file number. I have done my bit before and just now again - http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/services/services-form.htm
  8. Hi all How long does it take to get a queue date after lodging application from overseas. Please share you experience. thanks!
  9. I believe if you take an action there is a chance/possiblity (may be) for an outcome but its 100% sure that there will be not outcome if there was no action. if everyone starts complaining to DIAC for the processing time, they may think about it but if no one ever bothered to questioned them, they might be under the impression that no one is complaining and everyone seems to be happy.
  10. Hi All I have complained and suggested to DIAC many times using below link regarding processing time for RRV visa. http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/services/services-form.htm You dont neccessarily need to provide your file number. I believe if all of us complain regarding same 3-4 times a year that might wake up DIAC. They also acknowledge your feedback. I have done my bit , please do yours and post here. Thankyou
