Thanks Wooba for replying. I've got the letter with me and it has no expiry date? I'm sure I read something online that they were due to start issuing an expiry date but I cant remember? I think it may have been post September 2013? Hopefully I'll hear back from TRA soon. Thanks.

Hello, Looking for advice regarding a successful TRA assessment for Hairdressing in 2013. Does anyone know if they expire? I have emailed TRA directly to query this but just wondered if anyone on here would know while I await TRA's response. Thanks,

Hi all, can anyone help? Almost 2 years ago, I completed all the paperwork for skills assessment (granted), IELTS exam, (overall score 8) and I'm sure at the time I think I can remember seeing somewhere that the IELTS only lasts for 2 years? Is this correct? As will have to take again in that case. Think the new rules state that a skills assessment is only valid for 3 years, so need to get a wriggle on. Anyone else been in the same boat? Thanks in advance. xx

Hi Alex, sorry to hear what has been happening, but think it's such a chance thats worth taking by carrying on with the visa. My sister, was due to go out with her long term boyfriend, she got the go ahead and her boyfriend told her a month before they were due to go out that he wasn't going, and had met someone else! She went on her own, knowing no one. 5 years later, she is married with a baby on the way and has just bought her first house....in sydney!! sometimes no matter how bad things feel, they happen for a reason. Hiya, I would send as much proof as you can. I didn't have wage slips for one of the jobs i did, so i got a 3 year back date from inland rev...(think they can only go back 3 years), i know this helped prove my case. Gutted you didn't pass, but honestly don't give up....this is the hardest part....i nearly ripped all my hair out getting all the TRA stuff together!!!! good luck. xx

I'm just going through the requirements for SS for both WA and ACT, we might not apply for both, but are just weighing up the costs of living in each place, flights, etc.... just wondered for the SS application how much people had stated they had to relocate? We've got a set amount......just wondering if its too little?? has anyone been knocked back due to this?? can a UK solicitor sign the declaration? do you take all your proof to them to check, then submit? thanks to anyone who may be able to help.
