  1. Has anyone had an automatic automated email. And then over a month later had another one? Applied on the 13th of may and still waiting for a test date? From the Gold Coast area
  2. Yeah it deffantly is very confusing. its making me think i should of gone through a migration agent.
  3. Thanks for the quick reply the code is 321211 motor mechanic. And the skill level is anzsco skill level 3 which i have got through vetassess, defiantly a bit confused now.
  4. Hello i applied for a 186 visa about 6 months ago, and today they have started to possess my 186 visa to be a permanent resident as a mechanic. I went to get my skills assessed through vetassess 6 months ago, and i got assessed and i got approved and i am now a qualified Australian level 3 automotive mechanic with my tickets and have just recently got my licence. I have just received an email today stating that the vetassess qualifications are not appropriate or required skill assessment for this occupation and i have to go through the trades recognition Australia. Can someone shed some light on this email, As i was told vetassess and tra are the same thing and the last thing i want to do is go through all the assessments process again.
  5. I am trying to attach the form 80 to my visa but its asking for evidence type does anyone know what it goes under as its confusing the hell out of me haha.

  9. Hello does anyone know If I can fill out the full 186 visa application before the nomination has been approved, I would like to get things started but haven't heard anything back from immigration yet and it has been three weeks since I have got an acknowledgment from immigration.
  10. 6 month wait for a nomination to be granted that's a long time does that mean as soon as it lodged it goes onto a bridging visa?
  11. I am in a bit of a dilemma at the moment I only have 9 weeks left on my 457 visa, my boss only has a few more things to do to finish of the nomination for the 186 but how long does it take for the nomination to go through before I can apply for this visa. The last thing I want to do is go home at the moment lol
  12. thanks for this its just driving me mad not being able to find anything black or white haha, all i need to do now is find if i am legaly aloud to work as mechanic in nsw without having to change over my qualifactions.
  13. I am a fully qualified car mechanic, who has been working in nsw on a 457 visa for the past 2 and a half years. I only found out the other day I have to have a nsw motor vehicle repairers license to work in a garage in nsw to be a mechanic is this true, as I only have my English qualifications? Any help would be great as this vetassess want to charge over $2000 to transfer my documents over?
  14. Thanks for the reply we have spoken to our bosses and they are willing to sponsor us for our pr. I have personaly had a good look around and the best visa to go on would be a 186 visa, would this be the right visa to apply for?
  15. Me and two other mates, me being a mechanic my mate being a mechanic and chef are all on a 457 visa, we have all been on the visa for give or take two years and we want to apply for our pr visas, none of us have applied for our trades to be recognized for our visas as we didn't think we needed too. Can someone please tell me if we have to get our trades recognized for pr or do we have to go through someone like vetassess?
