I need a little bit of advice....
To summarise my situation:
I'm based Melbourne - (Beaumaris)
I'm here on a 457 visa (2 and a bit years)
I am still employed and paid by my UK company in GBP
I've stopped paying tax in the UK (which you can do after 12 months)
So, I need to submit a tax return and get a tax bill for my 2013/14 salary.
I need a good accountant who knows what I should be paying and more importantly what I can claim against my tax so I don't have to pay as much...
My accountant last year was terrible, I had to prompt him for things like claiming back my car allowance etc...
I just need someone that will tell me exactly what I can claim back and sort it out for me.
Anyone in Melbourne had any good experiences with local bayside accountants (who specialise in UK to OZ taxes)?
