  1. If anyone frm Immi is in here watching our comments ....I humbly request them please help with the processing time of people who have overdue their timelimits.....nasim , RBP, Jazz , rid and lot more

Surely they would be the same unless someone has been granted, in which case if they are on this site they will update at that time. I don't think they need reminding.
  2. was that high risk or low risk ??

  4. and sometimes U feel like withdrawing Ur application and all of a sudden U think of all the effort and money u've spent..all these time u've spent ...and think of very limited alternatives U've I keep quiet and stop my tears and sorrow in me....I feel like first time in my life I've become so helpless and tied up ....and I reckon more than 50 % of the our frns in pomsinoz are suffering ....suffering like me...May god give us all the power to overcome this test ......

Specially when you are working in a town where you've got no friends and family....no shops and hospital nearby wit uncertainty of visa and dissatisfactory job with employer who wants you to do everything ( unskilled jobs )....U get more frustrated :(

Hello guys, i am new here.

applyed 857 for 10 months already, but still no co yet. A little bit worried....

Does anyone know how long have to wait for non drc?

  7. congrats lachicalatinabex happieee 4 you...cheers:wink:

    Hi Guys,

I finally received my visa grant notification this afternoon. I'm so relieved.

I originally applied DRC (low risk) to Parramatta but my case got transferred to Perth in October/November time. I had no contact with my CO, CO was allocated and visa and nom all granted today. I am an animal attendant/trainer on a cattle property in CQ. This was an exceptional circumstances case with experience rather than qualifications.

    Here is my timeline:

Visa lodged 26 June 2012 DRC

    Application acknowledged 3 July 2012

    CO assigned/Visa granted 10 January 2013.

That's a 6.5 month wait but no questions asked, no phone calls, no visits etc.

Good luck to everyone else, hopefully thing will all start to move along smoothly in the new year!

  8. thanks blossom your info has always been helpful :)

It lasts one year. The Aussie one you need to do again if you have been living in oz (sending mine in seemed to put my application to the top and was granted that day, yay). Ones from overseas if you have not been there since seems to be up to the co.
