Congrats Brucey, I'm getting excited too. LG said my visa would be approved 1 week before I fly. That means I should get it this Thursday :biggrin:

Hi Victoria 24, I am due to have my PMV granted in the next few weeks. We had to provide written evidence from a Civil Celebrant in Australia indicating the date we are getting married. My partner lives there, so he got in contact with her and made all the arrangements. It's supposed to be on 19th January, but as i don't arrive there until 17th November, we may have to change that date. Photos should be ok, but also include any emails, facebook chat records and phone call records. Any bit of evidence will help. Good luck :biggrin:

Hi, I have booked with Singapore Airlines too. I was also told on here that i would get 40kg, however, when Thomas Cook spoke to them, they said i would only get 30kg as i was on a PMV and not a permanent resident.

I'm flying with Singapore Airlines. Thomas Cook booked it for me. Because i'm going over on a PMV and won't be a permanent resident, they will only give me 30kg. Bit unfair really :mad:

Vixenpops, My CO is LG. She has been really helpful. Replied to emails very quickly.

Hi Vixenpops, Mine is due at the end of October. I emailed my CO and told her I had found a good flight for 15th November and would it be ok to go ahead and book. She told me Yes, just to let her know when i'd booked it and then email her 2 weeks before and she will grant my visa. :biggrin:

Hi Laura, How did you send your stuff over? Who did you use? Just wondering cos I need to start doing that. By the way, I emailed LG and told her when my flight was booked for and she replied today to say remind her 2 weeks before I fly and she'll grant my visa. Yippee :jiggy:
