Hi Again, I have one issue on my hand, my wife's old passport had her Given name and Family name interchanged on the passport and she has travelled on that passport a couple of times...The passport is expired now and she has a new passport with the corrected Given & family name. Should i declare it anywhere or Do this affect my application any ways? I'm adding her in my 190 application as family member. Thanks for all the help

Dear all, I got my skills assessment from VETASSESS as positive and am confused on the points. I had claimed an experience of 7 years in my current occupation (Outside Australia). Under the heading "Duration of employment" it says , "based on the evidence provided, at least three year/s of employment is assessed as highly relevant to the nominated occupation and completed at an appropriate skill level in the five years before the date of applying for this Skills Assessment. The employment above meets the minimum requirements for this occupation". Does it mean i can claim 5 points only? as it states that atleast 3 years of employment is relevant. Appreciate your replies.

How to consider as what is the relevant experience? For example i assume out of 8 years of my total experience all the 8 years are relevant work experience whic DIAC might not agree to. Or should we just use the Point test letter provided by Vetasses for assesing the employment

If I have experience of 10 years with one employer and if my job assessing authority approves it only for 7years. How do I enter this info in Skillselect? as it calculates the number of years automatically once I enter the employment start date & end date. Appreciate your replies

Hello Mattybe, My HR department is not agreeing to provide the employment reference letter as mentioned by DIAC and they have communicated to my reporting manager not to sign any reference letter. How should i do in this case? For my skill assessment (Vetassess) i have given a Statutory declaration, with my offer of employment letters, bank statements, pay slips & tax forms. Thanks in advance
