Hi everyone, I am a recent migrate (an Asian), with spouse visa. I had to move to AUS with my husband after he got PR. I have 5+ years’ experience in IT as a process analyst and a project coordinator. Also possess PMP certification. It’s been more than 6 months here and I have tried for PMP related jobs. Just to be in the safe side and to start from somewhere, I have also tried for office assistance jobs as well… Sometimes my visa matters for the recruiters (although there are no working restrictions) and sometimes it is the concern that I don’t have Aus experience or the exact experience with the specific job title … like an ‘office administrator’. But I am confident that I am capable of performing the job well with my experience. … So there is no luck yet. Sometimes it’s devastating and frustrating but I am still continuing applying for the jobs. Any advice or help on the job hunting would be really appreciated…
