  1. That is great TP, you dont need to be to be too precise. I have a good idea. Thanks very much for that
  2. Hey TP, Congratualations! You must be on cloud nine. What date specifically did you send your application, and when did you get an acknowledgement on the application? I am DRC and have a very similar timeline. Both Nom/App Lodged on the 13th of September with electronic verification of receipt on that day, acknowledgement on the 20th of November. Hopefully I shouldn't be too far behind! Cheers
  3. Hey guys, Does anyone know how long a break the Immigration department take at Christmas time? Is it a case that everything gets put on hold for a 2-3 week period? Cheers
  4. Hey guys, Can anyone tell me how you get notified if a Case Officer is assigned? Is there just a change in status on the online portal? Or do they sent out a letter/email? My MA has the login to my online application portal and they get all correspondence sent to them, so I am trying to work out how the best way I can get notified. Thanks for all your help.
  5. Hi longwaitahead, Did these other people happen to mention their submission dates? Cheers
  6. Hey guys, Does anyone know what the process is if the Nomination and Application are submitted together, submitted as DRC, and submitted online. My MA said that they got an instant confirmation when they submitted online. Does this mean anything? Or does is it just the online system verifying the submission? Why I ask: I asked my MA to keep me updated on any correspondence. It was submitted exactly two months ago but they have not said anything to me yet. If I was meant to get a "Nomination Received" or "Nomination Approval" in that time, I can go back and kick their ass about it. I have to go through these guys because my company uses them, and as result they are pretty complacent about providing a good customer service. Cheers
  7. Hey guys, Just to let you all know I received my decision yesterday and it was UNSUCCESSFUL. Luckily enough with the changes in July, if you are 2 years on a sponsored visa with your company, it doesn't matter what your Skill is. Prior to July this year that was not the case. Your skill had to be on the ENS skills list. So I just have to wait another two months before I can apply for my full Permanent Residency.
  8. Hey guy, I have been following this thread for a while now, but only signed up to the site this morning. I am in IT and applying for PR. For some (god only knows) reason, the skill which suits my profession is done through the TRA as opposed to all the rest of the IT Skills which are done through the ACT. The skill is called the "ICT Customer Support Officer - 313112". The TRA received mine on the 28th of February. So hopefully I get it before the 30th June. However I was quite concerned by someone saying this morning that you will only be notified by post - and that it may only get there by the 7th July. I will be putting through my full PR application, and if it comes down to the line, I will need a quick turn around time. So the 25th of June is more like my deadline date (as I will have to get X-rays, police checks, and sent to Immi within a week) Do any of you guys know if the TRA will email you the successful application to you straight away? If that is the case I will start calling them every day from the 10th of June.
