1.

Hi cant seem to find your pm. Sorry to hear you've had a bad move, hope you're settling now. We're moving from Scotland in 2 weeks and interested to know who the company were?

2. 4 more shifts and 4 weeks until departure!!
3. Hey Jake, I know the feeling! I think it's a natural and healthy process to go through, worse case scenario is that it doesn't work out and you come home. Better than living with the regret of not trying for the rest of your life! In any case it will be a huge and exciting adventure for you and your family, so stay positive and enjoy! Good luck!
4. Hi Rebekah, it depends where you are from - if you are from uk and can provide evidenced of being taught and assessed in English for five years that would be sufficient. You can do this by providing a letter from your school stating this. It also depends which visa you will be going on and whether you will require skills assessment as you do need IELTS for that. I think if you do APHRA first you can then do a modified skills assessment but I believe IELTS is still an element of that, can't say for sure as I did skills first for a PR visa. Mandy
5. Haha, after years of planning it sure creeps up on you eh! 5 weeks yesterday for us. Good luck!
6. Great to hear such positive things smithinoz hope it all continues well for you guys! We'd absolutley be up for a meet up too  Good to hear that you are making friends as this has been a bit of a worry for me! Arrumac, I'm officially jobless as notice has been handed in and position filled aaahhhh! No turning back now!!
7. Thanks Tanith, that's a great help. Have you made the move / got a job? X
8. Hi, I'm in the process of putting together my application also so can't help much. In regards to the letter from school, this has been my easiest task so far - just called up school office told them what I needed, they typed up a letter saying I was taught and assessed in English and and years I attended, it was then signed by a teacher who knew me. I picked it up a few days later. May be worth just getting one anyway, better too much info than too little I reckon. Good luck
9. Wow, your story brought a tear to my eye! Congratulations to you all, your daughter is absolutely gorgeous! :cute:
10. Good to here! Is it right enough you have to pay to apply? Also what info did you have to provide? Hope all continues well for you
11. It's good to know there are some decent festivals out there too as thats something I'm going to miss of home!
12. What a lovely offer, so cool of you! Unfortunately we don't arrive in Perth until May or I'd have given you a list as long as my arm of why I'd like to come with you! Enjoy
13. Thanks Arrumac, I'll have a look for that thread, probably won't take car as we'd either have to reduce amount of other belongings we take or increase container size and either will probably cost us as much as having to buy a new car in the long term. Crazy the difference in used car prices though!! You sound fairly organised. This last few weeks have been exactly that, sorting all the odd jobs around the flat that we've ignored for ages, we were preparing to sell (would have to be a quick sale now mind you) but after speaking to a financial advisor guy at down under live expo now reconsidering letting it. Lara, just realised you meant which area of Perth - Will be staying with family in cannington but our first rental will probably depend on jobs then we can research properly from there. It's just us two for now so makes it a bit less of a stress I suppose.
