  1. Is it a good idea to do a validation trip for a month and do all the basics , i.e Bank Account, tax number, driving license etc. etc. ?
  2. I still believe that contacting CO again and again is not a good approach. They are not here to guide us, they assume that we have all the required guidance and paperwork before applying. They will only contact if they need any document or clarification on any matter. Maximum processing time for 176 visa is 24 months, so logically we can only ask about status of our application once they are failed to process our case withing the service standards. Usually CO's reply to our questions but we should keep this in mind that they are dealing with hundreds of cases . and if everyone asks about status of application that would result in more time consumed by CO in giving replies, on the other hand they can use this time to process our cases. Personally I believe that we should avoid contacting CO's. I have applied 175 and I will ask my CO about status of my application on 22nd december ( exactly after 18 months ).
  3. Contacting your CO again and again and ask about these questions could never be beneficial for you . I have read your earlier posts that if 20,25 applicants send emails, your CO's will be pressurised and they will process your case faster . Believe me it could only delay your case . Whatever is mentioned on the website is for LR applicants ( some low HR applicants also follow this procedure to save time ). Sending regular mails or PLE's can only show your anxiety and urgency to get PR and it can only delay the outcome of your external checks. CO have no influence on the duration of external checks . It could take 6 months to 24 months, but these days they are taking 7 to 11 months. You should be patient and just wait for CO's instructions. If you decide otherwise then you should go for medicals and PCC , there is no point asking your CO about this.
  4. Bro inform your CO about this and try to get extension ... and then try to find someone in yemen to find someone educated who can help you ... I know its very difficult but try it.
  5. If you live outside Yemen You can either return to Yemen to apply in person or send your request to a representative (a friend or colleague) in Yemen to submit it on your behalf. Note that this service is free of charge. Required documents: a copy of your passport; a copy of all former residence visas for Yemen; 3 photographs with a white background.
  6. Yes it is possible . But it will definitely increase your external checks time. because it shows your urgency to enter australia
  7. DIAC can call any of your current or previous employers , but it is seen in more then one cases that previous employer ( where experience gained was more then one year ago ) is not contacted . So, the probability is the quite low ( 20% ) that your previous employer will be contacted.
  8. you've mentioned that office location is changed then howcome address is still the same ? If everything is changed then you should inform your CO. But if only phone numbers are changed and address is same then I think you should be fine if you dont update ( because its all about your previous employer ) DIAC is usually more concerned about current employer . and remember DIAC recommends to inform them in each and every case and it will not have negative impact on your case. These changes are beyond your control so dont worry, its normal for CO's as they deal with hundreds of cases and its quite common.
  9. there is some mistake in my timeline 175 applied ( 22-Jun-2011 ) CO ( 28-feb-2012 ) Form 80 ( 29-feb-2012 ) Updated Form 80 requested again ( 16-May-2012 )
