Hi everyone was just wondering if somebody could recommend suburbs to me and my partner. Currently staying in Singleton an hour south of Perth absolutely love it and close to my family but we are struggling to find what we want in a house. Can anyone recommend other suburbs closer to Perth ideally SOR but we are open minded to the northern suburbs. We don't have children and are a professional couple so just need something that's pretty easy for transport links to the city etc. Thanks jen

Hi Everyone, Me and the OH are moving to oz in Jan next year we are settling in perth but are travelling East Coast for 2 months first. Can anyone recommend a decent campervan company because all i am seeing are bad reviews on them all!! I just want a reasonable priced small van for 2 people with no hidden costs! Thanks Jen

Another question is what kind of paperwork do we need to rent long term. My partner has a mortgage and i moved in last year but aren't named on mortgage also i rented last year but no longer have contact details of landlord. Will mortgage statements be enough? Thanks

Hi everyone, Me and my partner are emigrating next Jan 2014. We are travelling for 2 months on the east coast and then heading back to perth in April. Can anyone recommend a cheap rental company for short term ideally we want to be south perth i:e rockingham area etc. Wont have a job but have plenty of money saved does anyone know if we could get a proper rental house if we just show how much money we have rather than a regular income? Hi all, getting worried now me and my partner applied for separate 175's on 26 May he has been assigned a CO today but i haven't hope i get one soon or its going to be a bit awkward with medicals etc!

Hi i know loads of people have probably asked this but have just submitted 175 app online and was just wondering about form 80. I don't mind filling it in etc just confused about how we send it??? I have already attached quite a lot of documents so if i write it out and scan it it may be too many docs. Any advice? Thanks :-)

Hi everyone, Sorry if i keep asking stupid questions, Me and the OH are about to submit 2 individual GSM 175's as we haven't lived together long enough for de-facto. Im just concerned that they will get processed at a different rate. Has anyone had experience of this? We will have the same address and phone number on our application so will they tie us together? Thanks :dull:

Well just about to lodge our 175 so probably about 18 mnths was just trying to get a feel for things, not sure where to head yet going to travel for a bit. I have some family in perth so maybe that way. Will u keep me posted if your OH gets a job and whats around etc. Good luck with the move. :biggrin:

Hi me and OH are just about to start the online application but i'm getting a little confused. We are getting individual visa's as we haven't lived together long. Could you give me some advice on a few things: Birth certificates - do they need to be certified? Can we use the short ones without parents names? Passport - do they need a certified copy? Copies of uni degree certs, transcripts and references- do we attach in black and white as the original certified copies are already in OZ due to skills assessment! Why did u attach b,statements and pay slips is that because you had a new job? or were going on same visa? Sorry i'm getting a bit muddled trying to avoid paying an agent! Thanks

Hi everyone, Just a quick question about attatching and sending documents with the electronic 175 Visa application. Was just wondering if you can send black and white copies of documents or if they have to be scanned and sent in colour. Problem i have is i sent all my official stamped/certified copies of my transcripts to have my skills assessed and only have black and white copies i made. Also any other tips on things i might need to do would be great. Thanks for any advice :wink:

thanks for your replies can i just ask do you need the original birth certificate, ielts and skills assessment stuff like transcripts and certificates certified again and the originals sent to DIAC or can you scan them first and send them me and my partner are confused because if you do it online and scan them and send them then they aren't original? Sorry if that was confusing!
