  1. Unlike other forums this forum gets rare updates from BD applicants....
  2. Hi Jars! I have been following your posts, coz i like them....although I believe your app will soon be allocated a CO, nevertheless this delay is sour for me as well. Maybe the following info will be helpful... (Best of luck!) Post-Lodgement Enquiry If you have lodged a GSM visa application and your enquiry relates to when your application is likely to be assessed by a case officer, please see: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/lodged-information.htm If you have lodged a GSM visa application, but have not yet been contacted by a case officer, and you have further enquiries, use the GSM Post-Lodgement Enquiry Form at: http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/gsm/post.htm You can also contact the General Skilled Migration processing centres by telephone on 1300 364 613.
  3. Does anyone know if all BD applicant are subject to external checks? How many months does it usually take after CO asks for Form 80 for the external check? Any idea?
  4. Hi mate! Here follows the answers to your questions.... 1. Possible [but you only have 1 year validity. If your case is subject to external checks and takes long time to get approved, you will be given less time (till the expiry date of 1 year) to make the first entry to validate your visa]. From the document checklist page you see way to download forms 160EH and 26EH with your your info inscribed, take printouts and make appointment with the approved clinic. 2. Possible [same rule of 1 year validity applies] 3. Select "WA - State Migration Centre - Small Business Development Corporation" Good luck!
  5. Thank you vmayank!!! The info is helpful.
  6. Hi mates! I just got SS approved; now preparing to submit 176 application online. I would like to have your advice on the following situation: 1. I am in Bangladesh, while my wife is in UK for her Masters study. She will return in September 2012. Do you think this will create any confusion or inconvenience in clearing our case by the CO? 2. Both my wife and I had done PCC in July 2011. Do you think those old documents (less than 1 year old) will be usable? Or we will need to re-do PCC? 3. Since my wife is in UK for 7 months now, will her PCC be required to be done by UK Police in addition to Bangladesh Police? Or only Bangladesh Police PCC will suffice? Thanks in advance.

  9. Hi Lenon08 Please take look at the State Migration Plans to see if you are eligible for migration on state sponsorship (I guess you do not have a close/ first-blood family member who can sponsor you).
  10. Hi mate! I applied for WA SS on 14th April and today received the email saying my application is being reviewed. I'm expecting a decision on my application in a week! Plz wish me luck!

  12. Dear brothers, Could you please share how you have paid DIAC visa application fees? I don't see a convenient way of paying online from BD. All means of paying online are barred by the government which seems to indirectly promote HUNDY instead! I'm so sorry about the bad government policy on international payments and outbound remittance.
  13. It does not matter if the card is a VISA card or a Mastercard; however, the credit limit matters, logically! If it doesn't have over-charging provision, the payment request is likely to be turned down. From reading, I understood that some have been successful in paying by Debit card, so let me try. Wish me luck...folks!
  14. Hi, I'm from Dhaka. Waiting for State Sponsorship, then I will apply for 176 visa. DhakaGreetings
