Hi Muhammad, welcome to PIO---This is an adivice if u want to apply to Australia---- yes u can claim points for your Masters Degree.However,U should know that u can claim only 5 points for equilvant bachelor degree as per AQF.It means that ur BA history coupled with ur Masters (a total of 16 years education) will definitely be equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree LEVEL.Hence u can definitly get 5 points for ur overseas educational qualification.

I would further add that previously once u r granted skilled state sponsored independent visa (176) and u opt for that and by the time ur original application for skilled independent (175) also approved, then u will be granted skilled independent visa and the visa granted in the last will be ur final visa.So was the case in the past.I think it will also be in case of 189 vs 190 but i have no confirmation about this so far. However, I believe that first u should apply for 189, then get SS and in this way u will manage to get 190 early.U just accept it and go for 190.Subsequently, ur application for 189 that was in the process que got approves and u then became holder of 189.............. Request for comments plllllllll.

Apart from Nikaha Nama, I have submitted the family registration certificate (Form B) issued by NADRA.Also, birth certificates of my two kids form concerned UC supported my claim.

I am also planning to get SS for ACT as Policy Analyst. Can anyone guide me what qualification is necessary for it.I have done my Masters in Dev Economics form ANU and thinks that it is relavant... Any body can help me guide????????

English Nikhanama Forms are also available near any District Courts premises and u can get it filled (typed ) and get it duly signed form the original Nikah Registrar under his seal and stamp. It is a better way and already done by me while getting my spouse visa some two years ago.:laugh:
