Thanks Chloe and Sahara, its great to get feedback. Well I am still stuck on those areas, well probably get a better idea when we arrive. I sending mine to catholic school too, its in Mt. Clear. Really starting to worry about the costs. Chloe I am going to Pm you... ;-) Thanks

Hi I'm Irish married to an aussie/italian ( for the moment). We have 3 young children. We are heading over end of summer.. I have been having a "what have I done" moment for 6 months now.

Hi AdamHb, My DH is aussie and my sponser, we have lived here 10 years. He has no job or house in oz, and I have received an email saying my visa will be granted early sep. We stated that we can saty with Dh's sister in melbourne and that he will have no trouble getting work in his industry. Worked for us. OR maybe it was his bank balance :-)

Hi Jane I think your SV too, I emailed her to check she got the medical results. So you may hear from her tomorrow. We are still looking at 11/10/12 for flights. As its the date hubby first arrived here 10 years ago, it was supposed to be 3 month holiday. I trapped him bigtime LOL. We flew here young and in love. Now going back with a mortage, 3 kids, more body fat, less hair and wrinkles. Just going thru the maze of removals at the moment. Bringing some furniture, looking at a 40ft as we are bringing a vintage car.

I would like to confirm that all required documents have been received and assessed and your visa is due to be granted around early September 2012. Just received this from SV. I'm a late march applicant. So I guess this means I am getting the Visa, date may change . would be so happy with early sep

I have two very large vintage trunks (think titanic) they are 100 years old. They are painted wood, leather trims and studded. A little rust and some TLC needed. I would hate to part with them. I asked 3 different removal guys and 3 different answers. 1. They'll be fine 2. no way, not worth it. 3. Do.. cause they are fab and worth it (even if they have to be fumigated) So my question, who do I ask? that can give me the Answer. Can I email pictures to someone in AQIS? can I get them fumigated here and supply a cert? help please

Firstly, this is a bit premature as I have not got quotes back from last two companies. We are renting our house so not brining fridges, dishwasher mattress etc... We are bringing a tiny little vintage car, anywho last week we got a company in for an estimate, they came back with a 40ft and RORO for the car. (just shy of 10 grand). I said we would reduce belongings to get car into 40ft (a little over 7 grand). NOW, I got two different guys in today (no price yet) but both reckon car and personal belongings in a 20ft. HUH!!!! How the hell could they be sooooooo different?
