  1. Thank you. I would prefer someone in Sydney so that I can talk to them in person when the lockdown is over. Please let me know if you know anyone. Thanks
  2. Yeah that's so true. Fingers crossed for the pandemic to be over soon.
  3. Thank you Linda! We have no other brothers or sisters. It's just me and my sister and we both are here in Australia. I'm actually looking got an agent, but just overwhelmed with the Google researches as there are so many. Do you think if we wait for the 870 visa to finish (yes she will be 65 by that time.), and apply for 864 visa first. And apply for 870 visa after that (say after a week's time), and once she gets 870 visa, she can return back to Australia. And with the 864 visa application, how does it work until it's being processes? Can we apply for a bridging visa? To be honest, all we need is some sort of visa for her to stay here with us, and I've always had a visiter health cover for her and she stays with us. Thanks!
  4. Hi All, I'm lost for options and seeking your kind ideas. Both myself and my sister are Australian Citizens. (We both are living in Sydney with our families). Our mother is currently in Australia on a 870 visa. We lost our father few years ago, and that means we have no real close family outside Australia. I tried to apply for Contributory visa (subclass 143) and found out there's a condition not to have a Sponsored Parent (Subclass 870) visa. Which puts me in a really bad position as she has 3 more years to go with the 870 visa. And pretty much all the parent visa classes have this condition of not having a 870 visa. She's 62 at the moment and can you please suggest me the options I have. Thanks guys!
  5. BUMP..!!! Some advice on the time to arrive in Aus for Visitor Visa, please….!
  6. Thanks for the prompt reply Nicky. Speaking of which, considering a 1 year visitor visa, what would be the average time from the grant to enter Aus? I need my mom to visit us in January. I was thinking when to apply for visa. Thanks in advance.
  7. Hi Guys, Can someone please tell me, how's the validity of the Visitor Visa work? 1. From the date of the Visa Grant 2. From the date of the Arrival in Australia Thanks
  8. I only paid 80. Mine was straight forward. Single income (which is the salary) & wife's not employed.
  9. I'm using TPG. Unlimited ADSL2+ for 59 a month. Speed is pretty good. Customer care is not too bad.
  10. It surely will be a huge blow to many. Seems DIAC is going along with the fall of the dollar.
  11. Hi akmirror, Yep, i was throwing my self hard at the job market in WA. But Telecommunication industry is not quite good in Perth, to be honest. I don't know, why WA has put Telco Engineering as a highly demanded field in WA. I don't have any friends who's doing a telecommunication engineering job in Perth, where as I got plenty of friends in Melbourne & Sydney. Well, Sydney job market (in terms of Telco industry) is much better. But still there're stories of job cutting's. Anyway just don't loose faith. You'll get something soon. It took me 6 months to finally get a good job.
  12. Hey Dude, Don't go with remarking. It takes a hell of lot of time & I've never heard from any of my colleagues about getting the result changed. Eat time & money. Try following site, which did a great deal of help to me. dcielts.com Good luck mate.
  13. Yeahh, u r absolutely correct. Mine is just 15 months old. Feel like he's born yesterday.
  14. Yeah, we'll surely will get there. Time is the crucial factor.
  15. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm here with my wife & one year old baby. I'm 29 & wife is 28. We believe, we have a long way to go. So let's see, how things are working out for us. Cheers to everyone in WA. Honestly I miss Perth.
