thank you LKC its so annoying they sure dont make anything easy. The following documents should be enclosed with your application:• a copy of your passport, including your visa if necessary • proof of registrationthis document should show you've taken up residence in the UK or another country of the European Union (EU), and thedateon which you did so. You may also send some other, comparable document which provides reasonable evidence forthis purpose • two signed lists of goodsState the goods you wish to import on this list • invoices, proofs of guarantee etc. for the goods you wish to import (commercial documents) Enclose copies of any documents which show you're going to live in the EU, for example: • your employment contract• your employer’s statement• your work permit • your tenancy or purchase agreement for the home you plan to live in. i have'nt got any invoices ect , this is going to be fun.

We are in the process of arranging shipping and have been told i have to fill in TOR01 form on the UK. gov website print it off then post it to UK before my stuff can leave Australia. Has anyone else had to do this ? lots of the questions are ridiculous and unanswerable unless you have already left got a house and a job to go back to. The house i have, the job i am going to get when i arrive , got a few things lined up just haven't decided what to do yet. any advice from you lovely people who have encountered this form will be appreciated.

  6. Hi Has anyone had experience of applying for aussie passport immediately after the naturalization ceremony or from the UK while on holiday ? The council have told me they have'nt set any definite date yet only that my ceremony will be late April or May I will be going back to the Uk for 6 weeks (i did declare this on my citizenship application) and while im away my UK passport expires so was hoping to have my Aus pasport well before i leave but now im not so sure, i have read that after the ceremony it can take 10 days plus for immigration to update the records if this is the case and i have to renew my Uk passport how will i get back in here without a visa or aus passport ? After explaining all this to many immigration officers and getting nowhere im hoping someone here can help or give advise on similar expriences. i did enquire about a urgent ceremony but expired passports and births arent classed as urgent so that isnt an option ethier. thanks
  7. Hi has anyone brought an older horse over ? My daughter has 2 , one 5 year and her baby aged 23 , he still acts like a 2 year and is in fantastic health but she's very concerned how moving him at his age will effect him, leaving him behind is not an option and she won't leave without him. Any advise from those who have already done this is much appreciated.
  8. Can anybody tell me if I can swap my uk truck licence to Australian truck I am in NSW
  9. hi lisa been here 15 months now , our son is still on the whv (working holiday visa) his only option is a student visa , very annoying as he has a company who are willing to sponser him on a traineeship but because he wasnt employed in that trade in the uk he has been refused the required visa to stay. if you find a solution please let me know.
  10. hi john46 we had the same problem with our son , he came on whv did his farm work and got it extended for another 12 months , we are now looking at the student visa route as really wants to stay but he's not qualified or has enough work experince to obtain an sponsership. have a look at silver trowel there courses are slighty cheaper than tafe.
