Hi! Currently in Brisbane with my gfriend and need to start looking for work for 2nd year visa. Thinking of going down the working hostel route but reading the reviews of some of them really are a mixed bag. Just wondering if anyone has had any good/bad experiences of any of the Queensland ones??

Hi,first of all would like to thanks to such a great community on here,got so much help from the forum in attaining my visa. I am arriving on a skilled 175 visa and my partner has a WHV. That suits me fine because I plan on travelling for a year and doing the farm work with her to meet people/travel etc! Just wondering if anyone has had any experience,bad or good, with hostels in brisbane are or more importantly working hostels in queensland?? Thanks again everybody!

Hi guys don't know if this will be of any help but im just starting the process of applying for my 175 visa. I am going through the gas fitter role as I work for scotland gas networks (formerly Transco). Ive noticed this anzco code is a kind of grey area as it covers laying gas mains downstream and upstream of the gas meter,whereas most of you guys probably work on installations and breakdowns which (i think) would come under being a plumber as well,hence the vettassses assessment,where I have no knowledge. Anyways hopefully get my TRA assessment sent away this week so fingers crossed. (I'm using advice burea agents for my visa so the more I find out the more I'll post here and good luck guys. Liam
