hi a lot of Nvq level 3 in WA are coming back as Cert 3 this is from mine and a couple of friends experiance.

Hi I am in WA and my nvq has been assesd by the oversea board as cert 4 but acequa only recognise it as a cert 3. This has happened to a lot of people in wa since Jan. However I am now doing RPL towards the diploma. I worked as an unqualified untill I was assessed. Just check with your state first or ring acequa. Goodstart will take you on as unqualified untill you get assesed.

Your wife will have lots of clients. Good hairdressers are hard to find in Perth and dont charge a fortune.

Hi. I dont have any children but my friends children all go to South Halls Head school on the Seascapes estate. I can not comment on any other ones in the area sorry. I live in the older part of Halls Head. Meadow spring is nice and alot of brits live there resulting in lots of competition for the rentals . We went to view two houses and there was 50 plus people at each viewing. It seems to be the areas full of brits attract the most viewings ( that is just my opinion and not intent to offend anybody).

Even smaller world I am from Newhall near Swadlincote xxxx .

We moved to Manura on 17th April this year and love it. The rental prices are good for what is on offer. We looked at a rental in the morning and were offered it 3 hours later. It is a 3x1 with abig garden and in a nice area of Halls Head I dont have any brits living around me as I am in the older part. Alot of bris live in Seascapes and around the marina. It is a fab area with great beaches, shops and a foreshore. Hubby has to drive to Peth everyday and that was his choice but to quote him " Once you come across the bridge and see the views it is worth the drive and he is always back intime to see the sunset over the sea". I am just getting use to the area and riding abike again as we only have one car at the mo. So we are here to stay xxxx

Hi Snap we also had John Mason come and collect our stuff today. They were brill and very funny- lots of football banter with OH. We fly next week and we have got a matteress on the floor with a borrowed telly and the laptop. The time will soon fly by , Good luck with your move.

Hi all I am glad I have found this thread as we are flying out in April with OH on 457. He has been in contact with co= workers other brits and they have not painted a very good picture of the company he is going to. Hubby will go and see for himself but its good to know he can change the visa over to another job if he wants to. He only got the flights and visa paided for so not a great deal to pay back if needed. Thank you

Hi Hubby's took 5 days ( Logged 15th march processsed on 22nd march) but not with the above agent. It was done with the one thats linked to his company.We have friends that have just been given there and that took 7 days- a differant agent to us. Not sure if that is any help.

Hi all We are moving to Perth in April with hubbys job. I am have a NVQ in Early years care and Education. How do I get my certificates recogniced to be able to work in childcare???? In uk I have to complete a CRB form do they have the same kind of thing in OZ and where do I go to obtain it. Thank you and apologies if this has been asked before. Hi all Sorry if this has been asked before, We are going throught the 475 process with hubbys new job. I need to take tablets everyday for a thyroid problem. I was going to get 6 months supply od the doctor in uk before we fly. Do I need to do any kind of paperwork to bring the medication over in my suitcase????. Any advice would be great Thanks
