  2. 2007 i started,so im hoping that if i get pulled on my earnings they accept the years from when i was employed by a company on a good wage.Fingers crossed. im a self employed joiner what do you do ?

Inland revenue faxed me my work history within 10 mins and when I did a stat dec and had to place my hand on a book and repeat what the solicitor said.i suppose everyones experiences are different.but if it'll help I have the direct number to the department that helped me out :-) I will try to dig it out if you need it.
  5. hi ade your not by yourself mate, my agents warning me i could be in the same boat as you when i proceed with my application.Looks like I'll have to just roll the dice and with regards to your question,you need a solicitor to witness your stat dec.
  6. Thanks for the reply lebourvellec, Agents asked for letters from suppliers for backup, will this do any good? Do we know how the other guy got on,ive searched but cannot find the thread.
  7. :chatterbox:This is how i feel at the mo and im hoping for a bit of reassurance rom you guys.I gave my visa agent my profit and loss accounts before I spent a penny. Ive got possative skills assessment, managed to pass that **** Ielts and now he turned round to my saying that as i work for myself (in a ressesion) for over 20 hours aweek and have low profits with low tax obligations :-) I might be in a tight spot. Any advice would be greatly apreciated, is he just trying to worry me?? regards shane

Hi Guys Firstly im a very competent joiner that has my skills test in london on saturday:fingerscrossed: Im not really concerned with the hands on bit as i like to think i know my stuff. whats bothering me is the questions so if anyone could pm me some info on the questions i would be eternally grateful. ive been sent me a bit of info which i im grateful for,i just want to be as prepared as i can and feel a bit paniced at the mo :chatterbox: Ive sold my house now so i have a lot riding on this and want to smash it..
