    Glad to be home!

MKG - How long were you in OZ before deciding to move back? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks snifter have now got the passport and all was needed extra was my birth certificate. All in all a very speedy and hassle free service, took about 4 weeks. My little one now has his British passport [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I don't have any points on my UK licence, the points I have currently accumulated have only been in Perth via the traffic infringement notice. But I wonder what would happen for example if I move state, lets say Victoria and I apply for an Aussie license there, would the points show up or is this just relative to state? 4. I'm currently on 5 points so haven't reached the 12 point limit yet (and don't intend to), I was just curious as to how the points relate to holding a UK license without owning an Aussie one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes probably the best idea Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Hmmm, interesting. So unless you get an aussie license you can keep racking up the points and just keep paying the fines (not that you would want to keep paying fines and getting speeding tickets) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Does anyone know what happens if your driving on a UK license but obtain the demerit points for speeding, what happens to the points? I don't think they go to the UK license?
  9. Hello, And apologies if this post has already been done before, but could someone advise on what documents are required for baby's first UK Passport born in Australia and applying from Australia. Both Parents have British Passports, Dad (me), born in UK, British Citizen), Mum, also British Citizen, but born in Peru. I've filled out the application form and printed the declaration from and checklist but I'm confused about whether I need to provide more documents other than; Baby's Birth certificate and both parents Passports, do I also need to provide my birth cert? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  10. I would have to disagree. I have lived and worked in London for 7 years before moving to Sydney (Now living in Perth) and it's nothing like London. From my visit to Melbourne this year I would say Melbourne is more like London as it has that cosmopolitan, multi cultural feel that Sydney lacks. Plus the museums, history, buildings etc etc. Sydney has none of this. Obviously this is Australia we're talking about so it will never be the same but Melbourne is the closest city out of all imo.
  11. And now I pay $2.50 for an amazing, coffee every time. Only one thing, it's at my work but the guys seriously know how to make a good cup of coffee and for $2.50, perfect.
  12. Yes your absolutely right. I have also been to the Sweeny and it seems the 2 times I've been there it's been a good cut and that was by 2 different people. All the others I've tried have been pretty poor. Was just thinking about other options but after getting a quote from Guys Grooming for $60 + think I'll go back to Sweeny.
  13. After reading ALL the negative reviews of this place, I think I'll avoid. If only I could of brought my Barber from London over to Perth . So after much trial and error I think I will just have to swallow up the extra WA Surcharge of hairdressing prices (just like everything else here) and take it that around the $30 does seem the average. Has anyone been to Guysgrooming on Hay Street? http://www.guysgrooming.com.au
  14. At last, a more intellectual and constructive answer from a fellow southerner. Well said
  15. Now that sounds more like it [emoji4]
