Hi, happycat,

I am trying to get the CV template previously published on pomsinoz by Freckleface (it's been mistakenly deleted by Freckleface, unfortunately). Just wondering if you happen to have a copy of it and could send it to me. My email is romanluch@hotmail.com. Thanks a lot.

2. Hi Craig My OH (35) and I (29) are moving to Perth in 6 days and counting so the nerves are starting to kick in now. We will be staying with my partners uncle for a month or so until we find our feet and hopefully get jobs. My partner is a carpenter also. Luckily he lives 5 mins from Perth city centre so hopefully we will be near good transport links to start with. Good luck with getting your visas Cathryn
3. Thanks for this, we move in 10 days so will look back on this when times are hard
4. Please can you clarify what you mean by register with WA? Is this something else I need to add to my to do list? thanks Cathryn
5. yippee, I'll share your excitement as we move on 8th Jan to Perth. Roll on sunshine
6. This is a fantastic post and you have made me feel much more confident about moving in just over 3 weeks however we will be based near Victoria Park. My partners a carpenter aswell so hopefully he will be just as lucky with work. Cross fingers Thanks for taking the time to write such a positive post Cathryn
7. Hi SoozyB We fly 4 weeks tomorrow to Perth. How about the below? * register for non resident landlord scheme with HMRC and that way you will get taxed in australia and not in uk. I found out today though that we'll still have to complete a self assessment form. * let HMRC know you are leaving the country on a form called something like leaving the uk. You send this off with your P45 * change address for any pensions- if you have any good luck
8. HI Sniffer Thanks for this. We are renting our house out so estate agents are sorting out our electricity and water supplies Cathryn
9. HI All I was just wondering if anyone has a list of all the organisations I need to notify in UK when leaving on a perm visa Australia? I'm going to notify the HMRC for tax purposes Do I need to notify DVLA because our address will change on our licence? I will advise doctors and dentist Can you think of anyone else? Thanks Cathryn:xmas16:
10. Hi All We've sold our two cars and agreed to rent out our house from 27th Dec and this all happended last week. I think the rollercoaster has already started. We've got about 5 weeks and 4 days left, can you tell we're on count down. We'll be staying with my dad until we leave which will be another experience in itself It's surprising what gets me emotional like painting our house. I think it's all to do with it being one of the last jobs on the list before going. We'll be staying in Burswood with family until settled and then we'll go where ever life takes us. It's all quite liberating, whether i'll feel like this in january, i doubt it Goodluck everyone Cathryn
11. Hi I don't know if I've missed the point but we have a HSBC account and they know we are moving to oz in Jan 13 and haven't said anything about the savings we will still have in the UK Cathryn
12. Thanks for this, it reminds me of when we last visited in Febuary this year and it's got me excited again for when we move in Jan 2013. The way I describe Perth and surrounding areas is "magical"
13. Wicket5 This is a fantastic post. My OH and I move out to Perth in Jan 13 and it's good to know that you are enjoying yourselves. Cathryn
14. Hi Tamisha and Marc My partner and I aren't married either but had been living together about 5 years when we started applying. We had to provide lots of evidence to prove we were a couple. We provided information for the 5 years of the relationship including: bills (joint names), joint bank account, joint mortgage, joint letters, wills, we also had joint invitations to parties (not sure of the credability of these), joint holiday invoices (from estate agents) bank statements showing where I had paid for my partners vettasses assessment. That's all I can remember. We were lucky that I never shredded any information so we had lots to evidence our relationship. We never had any queries Good Luck Happycat
