Where's a nice area for families I'm in WA and thinking about a move to Melbourne and surrounding area

Its a nice with plenty to do if your willing to look for it. Just keep an open mind and learn to slow down lol. I love it here but my partner isnt a big fan but every1 is different. Ill see Jamie in the depot when he gets here and if you guys need any pointers ill gladly help

Hi there sorry to butt in but me and my mrs and little girl have been here since april we are 24 28 and 4 and im working for WP this place is really laid back.

Yeah i noticed its a bit of a ghost town but atleast its not raining much here :laugh: Im working on the powerlines so we'll be here for a few yrs, the mrs is talking about going home already lol. Nothing open but the cathedral lol

Its tough moving anywhere new. Its a different world here apposed to Scotland even compared to Perth. My mrs is finding it a little tough aswell but if we give it time im sure we'll fit in fine. Keeping optimistic isnt always easy tho :embarrassed:

Hi im from Arbroath. ive been in Geraldton for about 6 weeks we're looking for a house at the moment(what a nightmare). we've a 4 yr old daughter. where did ya come from?

Thanks for that alandeej lol. They cant settle as they know we have to move again. Cant wait to get a school/kindergarten arranged and we come from a small town back home so understand what its like.

We are just on the south side of the river in Perth and although its a lovely place my GF and the little 1 cant quite settle so we cant wait to move up to Gero. Everything is really new so much to explore

Hey we touched down in Perth on Saturday and we are flying up to Geraldton on thurs just b4 the easter madness

The company im working for is setting up temp accomodation for the first month until we get somewhere to rent. We wont have a car for a while so looking to be closer to the centre when we rent.

Nice 1. Are you guys renting? Do you find it expensive in geraldton?

Sorry i know sarcasm is meant to be the lowest form of wit but i cant help myself hehe My mrs loves shopping so trips to Perth would be right up her street for "retail therapy" as she calls it.
