  6. we got a migrant agent who i've emailed this morning and this evening pointing out that 9 months would have been fri, he says he has chased it up but nothing so far... tad concerned when others are getting theirs before the 9 month mark! hopefully hear something tmrw . little one hasn't seen her daddy since the start of dec as his travel visa ran out on the 7th! nightmare... just want to get the flights booked
  7. Its confusing with 2 Gayles posting at the same time lol. I trained at Dundee uni. And the hours quoted are for aphra x
  8. I tweeted them and emailed. The tweet and the email state diff total amount of hours (tweet 456, email 480) but I would go with the larger to be sure. Don't want to miss out for the sake of 24 hours. Also It states the equivalent of 3 months work, I had hoped to do some extra shifts as to speed up the process but it has to be done over a minimum of 3 months xx will dig out screen shots once I'm home for u x
  9. Hi! I'm also waiting patiently, haven't seen the OH since the start of Dec and the little one is missing her daddy! Applied at the start of may so hopefully not too much longer! X
  10. Hi just a wee note for those newly qualified - in regards to the recency of practice requirement where is states 3 months full time, this is 3 months of 40 hour weeks, not 37.5 like we do in the UK xx
  11. Hi misstatt, can I ask what else you managed to fit in the large cube? We were thinking of using a large move cube in January but I'm not sure it will be big enough . Thanks x
  12. Hi, I can't help but will be in a similar senario soon so I'm keen to see any replies . Hopefully someone knows the answer x
  13. Hi jac2011, I've been holding off my Aphra application as I thought you had to be qualified to apply... Is that not the case? Thanks and sorry for jumping on your thread
  14. Thanks for the replies.. I am UK trained but from what I gather from the Aphra Web site if your trained and have no experience you may have to do the bridging course hopefully not but.... X
  15. Just came across this post... Hope you got there and got a job okay!
  16. Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I have zero experience. I graduate this November and my partners travel visa attached to his PR visa runs out in december :/so he's heading over then and we are hoping (fingers crossed) that my partner visa will come through in January. The bridging programs are sooo expensive Is it possible to gain registration with Aphra another way? also on looking at the Aphra site it states I will need my ilets but someone else mention on here once apon a time that ilets are only needed for Anmac... Any ideas? Sorry for all the questions, Thanks for your help xx
  17. Hi everyone, does anyone know if it's possible for a newly qualified degree level nurse without experience, to gain employment in oz without doing a bridging course?? Thanks
  18. Just an update. Been allocated a CO and advised to organise police checks and medicals for August! They also confirmed current processing times is 8-9 months....
  19. Just emailed our agent yesterday to see if there was any progress on being allocated a CO and its apparently taking 6-8 weeks at the moment after looking at everyone's stats I thought maybe 4 or 5... Feel this may be a very long 8- 9+ months! Patience is a virtue I'm lacking lol
  20. Congrats again! So when are you gonna go? Do you have lots to wrap up here still? X
