  1. well id give qld a miss if you a spread work is slow here drywall, melbournes ok for plastering although its done differently over here and lot of companys bit reluctant totake on backpackers , in Perth its done a lot like home render and set ,good luck
  2. hi just a bit of a heads up , plastering is divided into 2 trades here drywall/ tape and joiners and solid ,gold coast is quiet at moment there is some work up in Brisbane be prepared to get 28 to 30 an hour , rendering is done with mainly bagged premixed render not many people do sand and cement ,I currently have a buisness so get him to pm me in arrival is I havnt got work ill have numbers he can keep keep safe

Hi mate , there's always a bit of work in wa they mainly have float and set teams paying roughly $ 6 dollars mtr so u have to be fairly quick to make coin over there , gold coast is a big no at the moment there is not a lot of work around for plasterers and way to many tradesman for the work that is here , melbourne is booming and you shouldn't run out of work there plus you don't need a BSA card hope this helps
  4. hi guys thougt id just add to your post , im a plasterer(solid) with my own company , the going rate for tradesman is $30 an hr and i dont pay much more than that , be surprised to find any one pying more but good luck hunting
  5. hi there,im a solid plasterer(renderer) as there known over here , first thing is its done a bit different to back home ,mainly exterier work with light weight bagged render ,applied in 2 coats ,there are a few people that still use traditional sand and cement,wages are around the $30 an hr,pm me wen u arrive and i can give u some numbers of busy companies /happy hunting
  6. hi there ,in general most trades get between $30-$35 an hour if your lucky you could get more but thats the average
