Thanks Mattster155 - I know it was really quick. I spoke to our agent about this yesterday, because we were originally told it would be 12 months at least!! Agent said he thought that they were trying to get through as many applications, as quickly as possible, before the new rulings in July!! I bet you will hear really soon - good luck.

Shipping your car via container? New rules as of Jan 1 2012

Hi, We are new to this and are trying to work out our options. We are thinking of taking our van, car and furniture etc. Sorry if this has already been asked - but has anyone had any experience of buying their own container, and then the costs of shipping it through a company? Not sure which way to go and any advice would be really helpful. -
My Husband and myself have used an emmigration agency to apply for our visa, and they have lodged our application- 18.11.11. we would hope to be moving Down Under late 2012. I am a nurse and my Husband is a painter & decorator. If you think we would be suitable, we would love to be part of the programme.
