Ive tried every agent/website going the ones that are available the prices are way out of out budget. Ive tried caravan sites too but there prices are stupid too! Really worried now

  3. hi Lisha im in the same situation except my daughter will be finishing in jan next year and wont be sitting gcses. (no choice- job waiting) ive recently visted a school in perth and spoke at length in re of continuing studies and aparantly its best to ask the current school to give all the work done up to point of leaving, a final feedback/estimated grade and reference and when she joins the school to have a meeting to discuss the studies (utilizing the previous school reports etc) she is already doing and see if she can get on them again over there. She will also drop back a year as school in oz starts feb not sept. im still a tad confused but they dont seem phased by her not completeing gcses. I have also spoke to the current school and as she is doing a btec course she can swat and finish this by jan so at least she will have at least that as a qualification which then can be converted in australian format. I think i was just waffling there but if you get hold of a couple of schools in the area you want to live then contact them, they are really helpful. I will admit though i was glad i visited because despite all the emails my head was still a bit confused by it all. Good luck anyway:biggrin:
  4. hi im in the same situation, i am in the process of but my understanding is that all documentation has to be sent. im still unsure what certificates i need to get certified cos i have a notary quoting me at least £200 for my cv, driving license, passport, nursing registration, uni certs and utility bill etc. Its scary how much these things cost. ive spoke to nmc today and for them to send a confirmation of good standing to aus will cost me £34. everywhere wants money!!! im worried my pot will run dry before i even get a flight. Have u got a job yet? and where you applying and what position? pinky 1977
