Hi, I've been in mackay for 2 and a half years. Going to the library events such as baby bounce and story time are a great way to meet people, I find the mums really friendly. Also mainly music is great for the kids and there is a morning tea after for the parents so again an easy way to meet people and have a chat. THere is also a new friends group run at Gordon White library on a Friday morning, I went when I first got here and it was really nice and the ladies really helpful.
