    I once was in a similar situation, I was not yet an Australian resident and my partner was. We found globelink then, they insure both UK and AUS residents

    Hi, I can recommend globelink.co.uk, they have a very good backpacker policy. Used them when I did my gap year travel.

    I usually use globelink, they are cheap and cover everything I need covered. If by backpackers insurance you mean you are planning to travel for more then 6 months you'll find that most companies do not cover such long trips, globelink covers for 15 months of continuous travel. This is why I recommend them. Hope I was helpful )

Congrats on the big move! ) Don't know about removal insurance, haven't used one recently, but for travel insurance I have found a list of good companies, here it is - http://www.globespots.com/travelinsurance_uk.php I recently travelled to Europe and used Globelink from this list, they were rather cheap and covered everything I needed, I think they do one way insurance.     Hi Paddy, Here is a good list of companies for UK, EU residents, check out this site: http://www.globespots.com/travelinsurance_uk.php There are different providers there that have good reputation like Globelink International, Columbus Direct, World Nomads etc.

    Hi You can get Globelink travel insurance. It is an UK based insurance company and they provide cover when you are away. I would not find better value and service anywhere else. Just Google them.

    I can only recommend you globelink.co.uk travel insurance as I use them for couple of years already and they are always nice people to deal with.
