So I was speaking to a financial advisor today and he asked me how much I had in my UK Pension. The thing is I have not lived in the UK since 2003. so would I have anything in my pensions? I did not have a private one any advise is appreciated Thanks Rob

Hi Everyone So not to sure where to put this so apologies ahead of time. So I recently got my 186 PR visa. But it has become apparent the company I work for are taking a different direction. And in particular with my role. This direction is a backward step for me and fear it could lead me into a job I hate with a passion. BUT a position has been advertised with another company in my specific field of expertise. What can I do? Or what would happen if I got or changed my employer after just been given my PR. I do feel obligated to the company (worked for the m in UK and Canada). But this change they are planning is not a good career move for me and my family. Also it would mean the visa job description would be totally different. I look forward to your replies and thoughts

OMG . Just got a call from Immi people and at the same time checked the immi account page. It is now finalized and completed...we are now Permanent residents. Good luck to everyone else and don't give up hope. I know it gets frustrating when you do not see any thing change on the website. ut she picked up my file for the first time today at 1pm. See approved the nomination and the visa in 3 hours. It would have been quicker if the MA would have answered he phone call earlier. At least she had the good sense to call me. There was some typing mistakes in the MA application. So she just wanted to check them. Once I spoke to her she completed it in15 minutes... TIME FOR A CELBRATION.... Don't know what I am going to do for 5 hours a day know there is nothing to check....

State is a great idea. Also the NSW processing email is nsw.pse@immi.gov.au I was given this by a Immigration call person. Like he said it is not exactly up-to-date (updated weekly) but at least gives you an idea of progression. Does anyone have the email for the other states? Hope this helps

it is just frustrating when you do not actually see any progression of your own application. The waiting is killing us But a big congratulations to all that have been approved

So how can we do this. My MA is usless and considering the money they charge a waste of time The company I work for , do a lot of visa workers. All my things are there, Documents medicals etc Fingers crossed..It is killing my eldest son with University fees as a International student...

Hi Markp We live in Ormeau, North Gold Coast. It is a great area for families and right in the middle of GC and Brisbane. I travel every day to Brisbane CBD and takes on average an 1 hour to get there. But the benfits are so much better where we are that 1 hour is a cheap price to pay. Congratulations CaterinOZ. We applied for ours on the 22nd September, using a MA. I emailed them this morning and they as usual gave me no information at all. I wonder why they get upset when you ask for information. After all we did pay them for this service.....So frustrating We are using Sydney I believe for processing center

so just looked at my application online and it has a lot of fields that say recommended. Any ideas what that means? a lot of the other forms submitted either say the date of submission or the week after. Also just says processing. You would think for the amount they are charging there may be a little more information available... I look forward to any replies Also what is MA?
