  1. Thank you! I don't remember the exact dates, it was early November. I believe the citizenship approved was a few weeks later, on 22nd November
  2. Just received an invitation to a citizenship ceremony for next month. City of sterling in Perth. Applied June 2020 - sat test November 2020. Was approved for citizenship November 2020
  3. Why are people saying WA aren't issuing ceremony dates?
  4. How do you know that WA isn't issuing ceremony invitations? Has this been confirmed anywhere?
  5. Thank you, I applied in June 2020 I believe, got my test invite in September, sat the test in November and had my approval mail later in November.
  6. Hey guys, I was approved for citizenship 22 Nov 2020 after passing the test earlier that month in Perth WA, so it'll be coming up to 3.5 months. Still no word on a ceremony invite, though the immigration waiting times currently says 75% get their ceremony within 5 months of being approved. Was just popping in to see if many others are getting ceremony invites lately? Historically ive been pretty lucky and had visas granted significantly faster than others, though this is probably not correlated to my citizenship process. I check the portal once or twice a week to see if an update has been given haha.
  7. From the official migration website, I actually checked it yesterday. I was under that impression also, but as of March 2017, Those are the current waiting times
  8. Apparently its 12-18 months right now, for both 801 and 820 visa
  9. so did my friend, but apparently it's just 'rubbish', with no explanation.
  10. Because everybody tells me that you get a high percentage of your tax back, something like 60% or more.
  11. And then what about when I leave at the end of September? can I file another tax back then or?
  12. I've been doing nothing but bar work, by the way.
  13. Was just wondering what I could expect to see after a year of work here? What is it based on? from the money I've earned, I've been told I should get at least 2000 AUD back, which is not too bad, I just don't want to expect this and then end up really disappointed when I only get 200 AUD or so...
