6. since 175 is not listed, I'd imagine 175 Cat4 is safe so far, only thing could be that 189 in new Skillselect will get higher priority in the same Cat4
7. [h=1]Allocation and Processing of Skilled Australian Sponsored GSM Visa Applications[/h] The current planning level for the Skilled Australian Sponsored GSM category of the 2012-13 Migration Program is 4200 visa places. This category is for applicants who have been sponsored by an eligible relative. Skilled Australian Sponsored visas include: Skilled Sponsored subclass 176 Skilled Regional Sponsored subclass 475 Skilled Regional Sponsored subclass 487 Skilled Sponsored subclass 886 Skilled Regional subclass 489. As at November 2012, the Skilled Australian Sponsored GSM category has a limited number of visa places remaining. In accordance with the Migration Program planning level and the priority arrangements, remaining visa places will be used for decisions on Skilled Regional subclass 489 applications which are family sponsored and other Skilled Australian Sponsored GSM applications currently in the final stages of processing. This includes subsequent entrant subclass 489 applications which are exempt from the priority processing arrangements. If there are any changes to processing, this will be announced on the department's website. Applicants can follow the progress of allocating GSM visa applications through the department's website.
8. Unfortunately - FS 176 Prioirty have been impacted lately, i read it in DIAC website. they mentioned 489 being Skillelect class will be considered, since 4200 places reserved for SAS class nearing quota
9. WOW :jiggy: thanks for the update, perhaps the online is even faster hope they pick up speed soon
10. well, from 25 onwards - we already enter into risk zone. mine is in 29 - i also got referred. besides this is one of the many parameters not the only one
11. I heard BMI>30 getss referred, but never heard of any failure. I guess MoC needs to do some sort of estimates if u have high BMI

Risk of Associated Disease According to BMI and Waist Size

BMI Waist less than or equal to 40 in. 12. My understanding this is sort of NZ TR (upto 2~3 years) leading to NZ PR
13. WOW - Congrates thats a giant leap forward, go GH go faster.:jiggy: Cheers!
14. I guess, GH do some sort of initial screening & decide to 'Refer' or 'Finalize'. We did our Med on 27th Oct, Clinic uploaded on Oct31st. Once received GH let my Kids' finalize & linked to system for CO, & sent rest of us to MOC as referred. Did u get Grant yet, since yours is Finalized on 8th
15. U need to select "current residence" as Japan to get nearest "Clinics". then select clinic of your choice, Fill in the forms & take appointment. Online form submission is recommended
16. correct, my understanding is also the same that u dont need to be on-shore to get any Skillselect Subclass Grant (even if u applied onshore). same is true for those who applied off-shore but can be on-shore when Skillselect case being finalized. from July 1st 2012 on-shore/off-shore cease to exist.
17. You can either be in Australia or overseas when you apply for a Subclass 189 Skilled Independent Visa. In order to lodge from within Australia, you would need to hold a substantive visa or a Bridging A, B or C visa. Once you apply from within Australia, you would receive a bridging visa allowing you to remain in Australia during processing of your visa application.
18. i like who hate IELTS - DIAC should reduce points for IELTS by half
19. Yep - I have the same. 186/187 Apply but not 457 U r right - this 'False Alarm' nearly triggered 'Cardiac Arrest' But wait a sec, when I went to next page to look for Correspondence no Invitation there - so RIP all my excitements Cheers!
20. Better to have all supporting documents (such as Experience Assessment letter) ready & dated before 'date of Invitation'
