  1. Thanks aba. I had as much confirmed today. Will just need to wait a few years as I start a human resource management degree in september and will apply once I have enough skills and experience. Fingers crossed kt will still be on the list in a few years. Thinking positive. ....more time to save Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  2. Just as I thought. Thanks a lot tickled pink Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  3. Groomer isn't on either thats why I thought id check before we make rash decisions. The points were calculated by visa bureau but I said to her I thought the points had to be for a relevant course whereas they were for a course in healthcare!so im dubious Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for the response rupert. He is a dog groomer so neither are skilled. Someone suggested if on the rare chance one of us were offered a job and nominated then we could apply under off the list occupations? But im struggling to find anything Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  5. Through visa bureau. 30 age, 10 general education, 5 occupation and 20 language (hoping to increase to 30 if I get high enough marks on the test) Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks for that. That wasnt something they were prepared to discuss without upfront payment so maybe I need to find another agent. I actually want to do the training in Australia so I have a better knowledge rather than learning on the job once qualifying over here. Do things chance any if you have secured an offer of employment as I am in talks with a few very promising roles? My husband sadly is a qualified dog groomer so not in demand and he is happy to do either that or courier work depending on what work he can find but he has less education etc than me and does not meet 60 points Thanks
  7. Oh ive just noticed Down Under Live is different to the events I was looking at! Will be worth trying but if anyone else can help in the mean time or knows of a suitable agent I would appreciate it thank you
  8. Thanks. I checked for events before posting on here because I thought this would be beneficial but no events posted for foreseeable future. I am even thinking an agent may be best in our circumstances now as it is a tad overwhelming :chatterbox: I am pleased you got sorted
  9. Hi guys any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have read many threads and cannot find an answer to my query and when my husband called a company was informed we could pay £100+vat for advice by card :arghh: Is there any kind of visa I can apply for based on Accounts Assistant roles please? I have worked for 4 years in the uk as an Accounts Assistant but in a manager capacity and also doing credit control. I have a basic AAT qualification and would like to move to Perth doing the similar role but studying around working to educate myself to Australian Standards. The option of coming on a student visa is a no go area as I have 4 children and a husband and do not have the amount required up front for the cost of study, with limited work allowance in hours and also the funds they require to support the family for the whole 3 years. I have 65 points on the points system so I am hoping I will be eligible to apply for something that is a permanent option? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance
  10. Just sitting debating on what to have as my signature and love yours lol!
  11. I found that looking on http://www.seek.com.au and looking at the local jobs, the job descriptions kind of let you know what exactly they are looking for
  12. I have never been to Perth and like many plan on moving after graduation without a validation trip (as a family of 6 funds do not permit 2 lots of flights) But it is nice reading this thread as I will spend the next 3 years reading people's views and opinions; good or bad. What I think influences people's decisions is unrealistic expectations! We obviously cannot really imagine how we will feel until we get there but we do not have rose tinted glasses. We have our hearts set on Carramar and the way we see it is, we do not have much material wise in the UK so at least in Oz we will be moving with the same but will have sunshine Anything else is a bonus and it is down to us both to work hard for anything we have over there. But what we leave with will be invaluable; each other, a lot of love and determination to make it work.....I do not like flying so once we are there that is it lol! Just my input
  13. Hi, For the bricklayer what qualifications must the candidate have and also what length of experience please ? Thanks Sent from my BlackBerry 9860 using Tapatalk
