  1. Funnily enough I was looking at it just yesterday and wondering how you'd got on Bingo! Congratulations, must be a relief to have finally got things sorted after your ordeal with the agency  Notch another one up to the DIY club  Do you have plans to go over soon?
  2. Hi, be interested in whether it's worthing bringing our Passat over 1) 2010 (60 plate) Volkswagen Passat CC 2.0 Diesel DSG 12k miles Climate Control 2) £18k-20k 3) $41,700-$45,600 TIA
  3. :em3600: Congratulations Helene, we certainly got gin-smacked the night we got our visa  See you in Perth!!
  4. Nice one Bingo, when we submitted the final bit of info our co wanted we were approved within 24 hours so good luck  Congrats to you Neilangemz, what a wonderful way to spend Christmas!
  5. Yep, we also got asked for form 80. From the uk so not high risk either. Not sure if holidays is a deciding factor as my partner and I make 4-5 trips abroad each month, when I asked if the co wanted details of each trip he said he wasnt too bothered, thank goodness!!
  6. So, Congratulations to Amanda & Arthur, littlegreenman and vickchick!!!  We uploaded a vast swathe of documents to show that Vix and I co-habit on Sunday night and last night at just before midnight we were granted our 176 :jiggly: Heading over in January to validate and a couple of weeks in the West Australian sun but it will probably be a couple of years before we make the final move over. We also went without an agent, the process was very straightforward for us so it was the right choice, hope you get some luck sorting your application out Bingo.
  7. Congtratulations Cath!! That's great news, and such a quick move over in time for the summer :em4300: Our own application is somewhat stalled at the moment which is disappointing as we thought we'd covered all the bases. Our CO wants more de-facto evidence and Vix's bank issues statements at a speed which makes a glacier look like a fast-flowing stream. Also none of our docs have changed status to met which is leaving us concerned that we won't get a visa issued before we go over in January :wideeyed:
  8. Congratulations Robyn, brilliant news! When will you be heading over to validate? :jiggy:
  9. You should print off your Form 160EH and Form 26EH forms from the Electronic Application Document checklist, this gives you personalised forms for the medicals.
  10. They copied our passports themselves, they also took photos of us which I guess replace the ones you need to attach to the medical forms on the online system.
  11. Where are you going for the medicals? I left that question blank as I didn't know, as it happened at the Bridge Clinic they just put everything straight into the computer system so the form wasn't used as far as I could tell.
  12. We had already uploaded five Form 888s from friends an relatives, two done by Australian citizens! The joint statement we submitted included docs to show we reside at the same address, photos and evidence of holidays - boarding cards, passport stamps etc - made filling in the Form 80 for the last three years travel easy . Think that and our 11 week old daughter have convinced them we're a couple, we just need to prove we co-habit, last time I had bills in joint names was when I was flat sharing at University  On a brighter note I now know where all the wasps were coming from this summer :err:
  13. Haha you and me both Bex!! Got our CO today as well and like you we have a few more bits to complete. Hope it all goes smoothly from here for you :v_SPIN:
  14. Got our CO today  Nothing showning as met yet though  Still got someway to go to visa issue as he's after payslips and P60s which is relatively simple. Unfortunately he's also after Form 80's for both of us which is tricky as both of us travel a lot - I've made over a 1000 visits abroad in the past 10 years and my partner is not far off with countless visits to Australia as well. While I can provide a list of where I've been with dates there is no way we can do the same for my partner. He is also after further evidence of co-habitation for our de-facto status, we submitted stat decs and a joint statement with some evidence such as driver's licences, bank statements and a voter registration form but we have nothing in both our names, I pay all the bills and where Vix needs to buy something she does it on a credit card issued on one of my accounts - not sure how we are going to satisfy this... Off to the loft to find my passport issued when I was 5 for the Form 80
