1. As I mentioned earlier other options may require you to show some savings like in case of NT they say that you need to "demonstrate you have the required financial capacity to settle in the Northern Territory (any support networks you have in the Northern Territory will be taken into account) " - go through their website for complete information:

[TH=align: left]Family Composition[/TH] [TH=align: left][/TH] [TH=align: left]Minimum Value of Net Assets[/TH]

Individual Applicant AUD 35,000

Applicant + Spouse AUD 50,000

Applicant + Spouse + 1 Child AUD 60,000

Applicant + Spouse + 2 Children AUD 65,000

If you meet all requirements and confident to find a job in NT then there is no reason to delay it further...
 2. Dear JBB - with 6.5 in written I still had few options but I would have to show huge money in my bank for maintenance as per AUS states’ rules. So I decided to write the exam again and scored minimum 7 in all. Didn’t prepare anything new, last time I stick to the minimum words limits despite having nearly 15 mins left –my mistake, thought exceeding too many words may go negative but I was wrong. In second attempt, I just kept writing sheets & sheets until time is over. I started with second module first but do plan to keep atleast 15 minutes for the 1st module also. I got everything done, NSW sponsorship, filed 176, medical & PCC done in advance – just awaiting for a case officer to be allocated ! Yes, rules are changing so you got to act NOW !!! By the time you wait for IELTS result make sure you complete all paper work for the state sponsorship. The NSW govt replied to my application pretty quick. I sent them all optional documents also so they need not to ask me again that delivered the quick result. Good Luck !

 4. I didn't find them valuable in my case...if you are not confident that you can manage alone then you may like to try them....they generally don't act unless you pay full amount....what code you are applying for...?
 5. well to avoid any issues I got all documents certified including CV...officer was bit surprised though but he did a big job to compare my educational and experience information mentioned in the CV ....just courier all the documents...let see From which country are you applying and what Code?
 6. Hi, I am planning to apply for SS 176 with NSW. I am kinda stuck with the documentation requirements where it is mentioned in form #3 that all documents must be certified - All? - including CV, salary slip, Skills assessment also? I am bit confused how someone would certify my CV, skills assessment which is again a PDF and salary slip same - PDF format since there is no original copy to match with. Or I misunderstood since form #3 also states that Tab 6 & tab 8 should be certified? Please share your experience. I am applying from India. Thanks
 7. IELTS is tricky (especially listening) rather tough I felt and that is why I have decided not to try again. Prepare well for writing because I don't know what they expect from the candidate (english is not my first language) and I got lowest in writing only. If you are a system admin like me working with clients across geographies then it shouldn't be a big problem....I had taken a short crash course though to understand the examination format but it didn't help much. On the examination day, it was original me One thing which I can say really helped me to boost my confidence was the IELTS IDP study material which I got after registering for the examination. Not sure which country you are in but in India I got study material within 4 days after the registration and had enough time to go through all the sample tests. Last thing which I always do for any important task was that I hired a taxi on the examination day to avoid driving fatigue and keep my cool (cool mind...very much required for the listening test) !!! ;-) Good luck !
 8. yes, they are open for SA provided with you have atleast 7 in each module...if you are eligible then submit your application without any further delay.
 9. Wish it could be possible...I think I messed up writing module myself since I stuck with the exact word limits and didn't fill extra sheets...I thought it may go negative if I write more words to complete the topic...otherwise I was very optimistic about the writing module... Anyways, SA is still accepting 6.5 but I am not happy..why? don't know? I wanted to apply for NSW but they need atleast 7 in each...bad luck Anyone aware if after getting sponsorship from SA, can I work anywhere else for first three years rather going to SA directly and then spend 2 years in SA as per agreement?
 10. I am bit scared now...was thinking to reappear since I got 6.5 in writing but need atleast 7 in all modules....I think better option for me would be to find a state still open to consider 6.5 rather running after IELTS ...
 11. I already scored 65 without IELTS. My IELTS Overall band is 7.5 with lowest 6.5 in writing and hence I asked if that could affect my case.
 12. looks latest - is this IELTS score over all or per module - can't figure out from teh PDF though?
 13. And you are saying that agents are honest enough to process applicaitons on time....I have been struggling with global visas since march 18 just to complete my ACS ....duffer agent even don't have my level of information...I thought if I will take 6 or 8 months for the over all process myself they may help to finish it far quicker....I have found Oz VISA process very straight whenever I interacted with them regarding my case, they communicate well and to the point. Don't just go for any agent since they are associated with a big brand or talk big....
 14. just ran by abhinav.com quickly and they seem to have outdated information still published since July...I think they all are same when it comes to Agent or paid services How you are managing it then if have not hired any agent till date? I think you also have same option for SS VISA only...
 15. <p>Hey Hia - sorry, I am also very new into all this...really don't understand the difference at the moment....in regional you may work in any state I guess whereas state sponsorship would be exclusively for that state only...</p>
