Hi i hope i dont bore everyone with a popular question. I couldnt see any answers on this site. Just wondering if anyone could advise me if there is any tax implications in australia if i was to rent out a property in the uk whilst living in australia. I have been advised i wouldnt pay tax in the uk as it is under a threshold and i will be deemed a non resident. Just wondered if i would have to pay tax in australia. I would rather sell my house but with the housing market and the bad exchange rate see this as my only option. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance

Hi Can anyone give me any advice on renting my property out in the UK. I am planning on moving to Adelaide within the next 18 months and with the poor exchange rate and low property prices would like to keep my Uk property for a bit longer. Not sure if i would be hit with a big tax bill. Would love some advice Cheers
