[/h]Due to restructuring we now require an experienced Mechanical Service Technician to join us on a permanent basis ASAP. To be considered you will have extensive experience within the maintenance of power generation equipment. Those with experience on Cummins Engines will be favoured. Responsibilities include: •Preventative Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance •Control, maintenance and preparation of Gas & Diesel-Electric Generating Units •Diagnostic and Troubleshooting on Power Generation Systems and Engines •Assist with management of breakdowns and planning of maintenance •Dismantling and Assembling of Power Generation Equipment •Comply with OH&S policies, procedures and legislations •Carry out mechanical and electrical inspections in accordance with manufacturer & OHS requirements; To be successful for this position, you must possess the following: •Multi Trade Qualification will be highly regarded (Mechanical & Electrical skill set) •2-5+ years exp with Maintenance and preparation on Power Generation equipment •Experience on Cummins Engines •Type B Gas Systems •Fabrication and welding skills. Pipework installation for fuel lines and exhaust systems •Experience with diagnostic and troubleshooting •Excellent communication and team work skills •Positive and proactive approach to safety •Excellent planning and organisation skills •Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulic and electrical systems •Forklift Licence •Experience as a Leading Hand would be advantageous •Manual driving License •Excellent customer service skills •Good computer literacy and administration skills You will receive: •Autonomous and friendly working environment •Good hourly rate and penalties. •Vehicle and mobile phone provide for field service work. •Permanent full time position. Field Service Technician Brisbane Northside Available for imediate start. Jubilee Energy specialise in the quality service and repair of diesel powered generators from major mining and infrastructure applications to schools and hospitals, Due to continued growth we currently we have a vacancy for a service Technician. The service technician is accountable for supporting and contributing to the effective operation of the branch in conjunction with the rest of the Team. Reporting to the Service Supervisor you will often participate in making key decisions for the business and provide a hands-on approach. Your Duties on a daily basis would include but are not limited to: Pre-Deliveries of new stock Servicing of generators both in the workshop and in the field Assisting with sales and technical enquiries Customer support and service A vehicle, Mobile & laptop will be provided for field service work Building customer relations The successful candidate for this role must have: Relevant trade qualifications (mechanical, Electrical or both) Able to work autominously and as part of a team. Thanks Shel, I will now try to go for the 101 offshore visa, at least he will have have study and work rights from day 1. Ive been told that all visa charges can be paid at this end so that takes the worry of having to send thousands of dollars overseas. Ive decided to try to pull in some favours in the UK to get him to the medical over there and that will be paid for by CCard. Now ive just got to find out how long it will all take?

Hi folks, looking for info or advice My son who is now 16yrs 6 months has told me he wants to come to Australia, possibly to live permanently due to the UK being the UK (Utterly Krap) no work ETC. I want to get him here via the child visa and im looking at the onshore visa as i can control the Financial side of it, i.e i dont trust his mother with my cash, or a 16 yr old either. Are there any down sides to him entering on the Holiday Visa and the applying for the 802 onshore visa once here. When we left his mother would not allow him to come so was never put on our Visa. Does anyone know how the bridging visa works, would he be able to work or go to Tafe / College. We are now Citizens so there are no issue there and ill sponsor him. All help and Advice is warmly recieved.
