I leave Glasgow in 5days to live in Canberra It would be a fab idea to get one up and running!! I'm gonna miss the tic pie enjoy playing football to and I'm well chuffed that Canberra united women's team play in green and white( no hoops tho) Loving the Irish bar links too Keep me posted on the supporters club! Hi there, I'm soon moving to Canberra after Christmas and new year ( spending new year in Sydney ) and was wondering if roller derby is popular in Canberra and if there are many teams, I've not had skates on since i was about 5 but I do like contact sports ( I play football as a bad ass centre half ). I'm really just looking for more info on Canberra roller derby and if any one is in a team Cheers Leeanne

Hey that's great news, I'm sure it will be organised in no time! That's me finished work now just organising other things now. I'm sorry I don't play badminton Just football and I snowboard, I kinda fancy the whole contact sport, But as I say roller derby sound like a goodbone if I can skate hehe Leeanne

Smashing thanks It's just a hobbie that I like but also have an interest in most sports. Quite like the idea of roller derby but haven't used skates for about 15 years lol x

Hi I wonder if anyone has some info on ladies football/soccer! I currently play for a ladies team in Glasgow Scotland, it's just a hobbie and was wondering what it's like in Canberra? Hi, been browsing online for places to stay! Gordon came up with some of my requirements(somewhere where I can rent and take my dogs) Is it a nice place to stay!and what's public transport like- or cycling to city?? Thanks leeanne
