HI, My friend applied for a partner visa from UAE. He has received an confirmation email from "correspondance@border.gov.au" where it is mentioned that "immigration.dubai@dfat.com.au" should be used for the correspondence. But it has been nearly 8 months but he has not received any reply from this email although he has sent 4 5 emails to know about the status. They are supposed to reply with in 5 6 business days but looks like they are not even reading the email which is very frustrating. Can anyone help us to find out any other email or use any other channel to ask something from them. Regards,

Hi, I just applied for my mother and brother's visitor visa. Their visas got refused. Strange thing is that, we provided my brother's 2 weeks leaves grant letter from the empolyer and mentioned the travelling dates within 28 days. And we selected 3 months visa as there is no option of selecting visa of less than 3 months. But Case officers didn't even bother to read the form properly and they may don't even know that there is no option of selection visa of less than 3 months. They didn't even read the leaves grant and letter. And refused the visa while giving a reason that in your country no employer gives leaves of more than a month and you have applied for the visa of 3 months therefore we think that you have no intentions to go back. 1. How can a put a complaint against case officer. 2. Should I go for a review to remove that wrong reason from the records as it may cause problem in future because they ask for the previous visa refusals in the visa applications. 3. What will be better, to apply for the review or to apply the visa again. 3. If I go for the review, we have already submitted the documents specifically leaves grant letter etc to the department. And we don't have any copies of it. Will Tribunal asks us to provide it again or they can just take it from the immigration department. Please advise

Hi, I am planning to sponsor my parent and a brother for a visitor visa under family stream 600. But, the condition on the visa as an sponsor is that: "You cannot be a sponsor for more than one person at the same time, unless they are the member of the same family unit. A family unit is made up of the head of the family, their partner and their dependent children. Other relatives can be included in the family unit if they are dependent on the head of the family.but he is not married and living with the parents." Can a I sponsor along with my parent, my brother who is 28 years old, doing a job but he is not married and living with parents in the same house. Or is there any way to bring my parent and a brother here on a visit. Thanks

Hi, I have heard that, on PR, have to spend some specific time in Australia to apply for citizenship and the time spent out of the country (Australia) is not counted. What if, some one has a job which requires overseas business travels and each travel could be 5 days a week. Will that time spent overseas not be counted to be eligible for applying for citizenship or is this condition applicable to some specific conditions. Thanks

I have seen in the points calculator that IELTS 7 bands rewards 15 points and with IELTS 6 person is eligible to apply but no points. But on victoria immi site I have seen IELTS 7 for developers/programmers. Can anybody advise me over this matter.

I am new in sydney and i have 6+ years of software development experience with: 1 year and 8 months in mobile application development ( Nokia QT, Android, BREW Motorola, training on Iphone) 5 years in C, C++ and java on linux and windows. I need a 5-6 years experienced software professinal CV format which is preferred by the australian recruiters. I used to write projects in my CV but later I found CV formats on the online recruiter's websites which only expresses responsibilities and acheivements. I can not express my projects in full details in these formats which I think is very important for a software developer. Therefore, I need a sample CV or any CV format of a 5-6 years experienced software engineer/developer.

I have been granted VE 175 visa. I mentioned Melbourne as the city where I will arrive, in the application form but now I am thinking to arrive in Sydney. Can I arrive anywhere in the Australia or Do I have to notify this to Immigration Department as this will be my first trip to Australia.
