:yes:So!!! It's bank holiday monday the weather is awful and I've had a sudden pang to catch up with you all!!Had a wee read of the lodged June 2011 thread on Poms in Oz too, Great to see everyone settled and making plans :-) Life has thrown us a curve ball and we are now considering the move once more, OH business is grim just not making the money he used to but still working 90 hour weeks!!. Our 16 year old has decided to stay on for 6th year so timeline is next june/july, had the house valued last week which was totally depressing!!! but hey ho, things are moving quick in our area at the mo so we are going to sell, settle some debt and start sorting our lives out and rent here in scotland so when D day comes we are not held up by a house sale. Would love to hear how you are all getting on, where you settled and what your thoughts are, I'll be picking your brains for the next year!!! Love LouLou

Hi guys hope you are all well! Life in the Slimming industry has been mental the last two months the expression busy wee bee doesn't even come close!!!!!!! we've booked our flights for June to validate our visa and are really looking forward to a month looking about and deciding where and when we will move over for good! Still haven't had time to read the kelobs blog! Hoping tonight's the night! I have a glass of wine poured and an hour to myself who will be in Perth in june? Would love to meet up! I'll be checking on here more regularly and I've joined the pert poms thread too! Hope you've all had a lovely weekend louise xxxx

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! Not been on in a long while, can't wait to get 1/2 hour to read the last few months posts. We are looking at flights for may we are going to go for a month looking to stay 2 week north and 2 south of Perth to get a real feel for the place anyone got any ideas. Hope it comes soon they do seem to be dragging their heels!!!:arghh: It's all come to a standstill here! Can you believe after all we've been through to get the bloody visa we've got cold feet!!! It's just typical life has turned around business wise for both me and my husband!! So we've had a nice long chat and we are going to book flights in Jan when BA have their sale ( we have 150'00 air miles to use too) for next June after Kirsty has finished her exams go for a month and take it from there. So no selling of house or anything at the moment so I feel a bit in limbo. Love catching up with what everyone else is up to on here so a huge THANKYOU to you for setting this up it's been a life saver xxxxx

Right I might have to have a look at that route too! We have not sent passports yet as we needed them for ~Dublin a couple of weeks ago and are off to spain next week!! lol xx:jiggy:

Hi Donna, Yes it does feel great!! I've looked at emirates Glasgow to Perth via Dubai working out about 3200 for the 4 of us (3 adults and 1child) but that's not till next June:-( got to wait for my 15 year old to finish her exams first. Would really like to go at Xmas but it jumps up to 5200!!! And I'm not sure if we would get much done over the holiday period re work,school and houses? As you know we have decided to go on a go see first, it's really the only way our families are putting up with our "madness" "midlife crisis" "nonsense" whatever they cam throw at us lol xx keep us up to date with your flight search Love LouLou xx
