  1. yes, same question here. Any good news, please? So impatient...
  2. Hi guys, are all Offshore applications LRR processed in London? or at each country' Australian embassy? How about Onshore LRR? Thank you.
  3. Thank you for your response, lazybones1987. Hm, I will try to regain my patience
  4. Well, Would there be update on new cap on Rem Relly Visa in May? Hopefully they would increase the cap . My queue date is May 2012 so it seems an endless waiting list.
  5. Do you guy thinks that probably the queue gets moved much quickly than they said? On 9/12/2012 velasco quoted "queue date up to 28 February 2011 are now being considered for final processing" On 2/1/2013, lazybones1987 update "queue date up to 30 June 2011 are now being considered for final processing" So within 1 month, number of papers seems to be jumped up quickly, at least more than I expected. Is that probably due to less and less people want to apply for this visa (or increase in number of withdrawn visas)? Hope that we can see any kind of hope here...
  6. Hi all, this thread for applications for Last Remaining Relative 115/835. You can post your timeline here. Would like to see how everyone is going, and anyone got visa granted? Thank you. OFFSHORE 115 Lodged: 11/4/2011 Queued: 22/5/2012 Asked CO: waiting 8-12 yrs, 3 yrs impossible.
  7. Thank you everyone for your replies. DIAC will impose NFS on student visa in my case for sure.
  8. Dear huythai, You are a lawyer, aren't you? With your 10-year-experience, can you advise me how to switch from LRR 115 to 835? And my details are mentioned as above. Many thanks.
  9. Hi Jason, Don't know if you figured it out or not after such a long time. But I'm similar to you to some extent. I'm currently waiting for LRR Offshore 115. And the waiting time is 12yrs. I'm also thinking abt LRR Onshore 835. I have done lots of research, and here are your answers: Sponsored Family Visitor visa (Subclass 679): Normally DIAC will impose No Further Stay (NFS) condition. It means that you cannot apply for LRR Onshore 835 then. Student Visa: it is very hard to be granted. Because DIAC will consider our cases "at risk". They know that we are currently waiting for LRR 115. Or if lucky enough, Student Visa is granted. DIAC may impose NFS condition and all things come back to Zero. "Whether an applicant fits the risk factor profile is determined by statistics that have been collated by the Department over a period of time. A risk factor is generally present if the following issues exist: the applicant has applied to migrate to Australia or for permanent residence in Australia in the past five years (parent visa applications are the exception). The applicant fits a departmental profile for visitors who are likely to breach visa conditions once they enter Australia" (From MIA) Not mentioning that we CANNOT WORK during 10yrs of Briding Visa like RockDr said. I really feel hopeless now. I cannot think of anyway to do LRR Onshore 835. I HATE IT >_< So, what are you up to? successully switch to Onshore 835? If yes, pls tell me how to do it. Thank you so much.
  10. Dear all, My LRR offshore 115 was submited in April 2011 so the waiting time is extremely long. What if I apply for Student Visa now, then LRR Onshore? Can it be imposed No Further Stay condition as DIAC has realized that I am waiting for 115? Or apply Student Visa --> Skilled-Graduate visa (even Student visa with No further stay still eligible - I heard that????) What do you guys think? And have you known anyone who sucessfully switched from LRR Offshore to Onshore? Many thanks. OMG, I just read through some other forums, and they said that LRR Onshore 835 --> Need to keep a Bridging visa for 10yrs, and even though I can stay in Aus with my family, I am NOT ALLOWED TO WORK during those 10 yrs waiting???
  11. You are not the only one in this very difficult situatution, lazzybones. You were born in 1987, I guess? I'm even older than you (only 1 year but still older right lol) 1986. Don't be so upset. Think this way: guys seem more manly, more powerful when time get past; but girls are totally different. The older we are, the less likely we can find a boyfrend and get married. Awwww, I need to wait for 10+ years, and I'm a girl. hix, I hate Aus now. SO MUCH! Anyway, I feel sorry for you, and for all of us who are applying for 115.
  12. Hi Ozzieland, I think Daniel's reply is not totally correct. (sorry Dan i am just trying to present my thoughts) After I lodged my applications offshore 6-8 weeks, I got a Receipt of Acknowledgment from Australian Embassy, and they passed my application to a CO. She contacted and asked me to undergo Medical Exam and Police Checks. I was so glad to do all of those requests, and then the officer emailed me that all results were received. And then, they professionally announce that my application had been locked in the safe extremely carefully, and I will be more than welcome to be put on the queue in Only 10+ years. Then they ended their announcement politely by a sentence: "Do not hesitate to contact me." I do no dare to get married now and even in 10 years. Do not know what this leads my life to, when Australia; the most well-known on the Earth, which is made by soil, for humaniarism; asks me - an extremely lonely and weak girl - to wait for 10+ years just in order to reunite with my family.
  13. Hi koolfirezz, Would you mind telling us about your sister's case? Is there any special consideration about your sister's case, which helps to push the progress that quickly? Thanks.
  14. Hi guys, Why aren't there any update info. on new cap on DIAC website yet? I'm so impatient
