Xenium, it is an automated email answer. I suggest you check your spam folder. The replies are probably sitting there. I used to check the automated update from DIAC every week from my work email (which was not the one included in my application). And I got an answer every time ;-)

In my personal case, my employer was advised first that the nomination had been approved.

Cmur, the answers are in the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...pcGJ4NEE#gid=0 While you are at it, you should add your own timetline to it too
  4. There is no legal obligation to stay in your job for 3 years if you go PR the ENS way. So take your sponsored PR and leave whenever you feel like it! Immi won't do anything about it dont worry

How long is a piece of string? Check the excel document to have an idea of timing. Mine was DRC and approved in 2 months. They would have given me the visa at the same time but I asked them to wait for me to get married so that I could add my husband to the visa.

Very excited for you!! Now that you have a CO and you supply all the additional docs, the visa is not far off. Time to put the champagne in the fridge I say!

Great news!!! Do you know if the CO has approved the nomination already? If it's anything like my timeline, we got our visa granted the day after our RMA submitted the extra doc required. You might not be far from the big fat visa stamp!!!

The question is not if calls get tracked or not. The real question is : does calling immigration get your application processed faster? Obviously the answer is.... no. Calling too often would just wait your time, your money and most importantly DIAC time. Instead of processing applications, they are answering the phone calls ;-) Seriously Girl65, you have lodged a few days ago. I believe it might be perceived as a tad indecent to be that eager when some people here have been waiting for months.

Very happy for you!!! What a great feeling isn't it??? :-) Hope you get to celebrate over the week end!! For those asking, I paid around $3k for my agent and he helped me through the whole process and made sure everything was bullet proof. Very happy with his services, although at time I was thinking he was being very pedantic lol

Tracy, you will most likely not know if your application has been allocated to a CO as yours is DRC. You will receive a notice that your nomination and visa has been approved and that is that Try and keep still it will happen before you know it. DRC are around 4 to 8 wks at the moment. Which is nothing. Cheers Lili

The application must be lodged where the nominating company is located.

A good agent will contact you on the same day they hear from DIAC. They certainly will not leave you hanging. So you should not have to ask. It is their job to keep the information flowing both ways... But if it puts your mind to ease, you can ask him every fortnight or so. EDIT TO ADD: Girl65 I just noticed that you applied less than a week ago!! This is a bit early to ask your agent about news from DIAC. Give it at least another week, or maybe 3. Since your application was lodged as DRC, you will soon receive an email telling your nomination + visa has been granted. You just need to wait. Don't worry.... Sit back and relax

This is the reply I got from my mail to the above address. It looks like the centers are still working on the huge number of applications they received at the end of June 2011 (fees went up at July 01). I am sure it will move faster as soon as they get over that unusual load. Parramatta Centre of Excellence (COE) ENS cases which were received on 14 June 2011. Parramatta Centre of Excellence (COE) RSMS cases which were received on 26 August 2011. Melbourne Centre of Excellence (COE) ENS cases which were received on 30 June 2011. Melbourne Centre of Excellence (COE) RSMS cases which were received on 1 August 2011. The Perth Centre of Excellence (COE) ENS cases which were received on 21 July 2011. The Perth Centre of Excellence (COE) RSMS cases which were received on 14 November 2011.

For Melbourne updates, send a blank email to vic.pse@immi.gov.au and you should get an automatic reply soon after. Check your spams though! They usually update the automatic reply once every fortnight, sometimes they don't.
