  1. It's not a website. You email them. I guess they have a site too for general info about them and what they do, but I never saw it and that's certainly not how the booking process works.
  2. No, I did what lebourvellec described. And these flights are not just with Qantas - we had various quotes from Emirates and BA too. In terms of price, our flights would have been over £4K on skyscanner.net and we paid less than £2.5K. This was for 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant. Hope this helps.
  3. No, I got a migrant flight, so you're not allowed a return. It was a massive discount versus the same flight booked through an online flight supermarket (plus double baggage allowance), so we didn't look at any other options
  4. One-way tickets to Oz are definitely the most exciting things I've ever bought :-) House rented out - tick! Job quit - tick! Now our flights are booked and paid for, so we just have to pack up our lives in 9 weeks, find a job, school for the kids and somewhere to live...best get on with it!
  5. If you had a visa declined due to meds or approved despite a pre-existing condition, please post the condition, the visa outcome and how long it took. Thanks!
  6. It was a week. I thought I finished one job and started the next a week earlier than I did. They were both 'recognised' jobs so it didn't make any difference. I reckon yours fits into the same bracket.
  7. I don't think they'd care about that unless the extra 2 days pushed your experience up over one of the thresholds and so got you 5 points you shouldn't have had. I had an issue like that and it was never mentioned.
  8. Brilliant news Nick! Congrats. Thanks for your kind wishes by the way. Sorry not replied - mad busy planning the move! As someone else said, do be careful and ideally check your EOI before telling ACT the EOI number. I nearly accidentally over claimed years of skilled experience, as my current job is totally relevant to my recognised profession, but I didn't get it VETASSESS-ed (didn't want to tell my boss then!), so you have to say it's not relevant to the profession. There's a sticky on the migration forum you've probably seen about not over-claiming on EOI which saved my bacon - thanks to Alan the migration agent!
  9. Sounds about right pswebb from my experience and what I've read on here.I do hope you finally hear good news on Monday!
  10. Well done to all those who got grants (or visas) this week :-) Truly life changing. And to all those still waiting - your time is coming soon!
  11. No form 80 for us. CO did ask for a few docs (just the very basics - passports, birth certificates, work experience proof etc.).
  12. I just got a grant! Woo hoo! Can't believe it :-)
  13. No! That must be driving you nuts! I really hope they get to you soon.
