    Aphra help!!

Hi All!! Please can someone help!! :arghh: -APHRA received my application for registration on the 13th of December 2011. -I sent them an email on 28th Feb stating had a job offer and wondered how application was going - received email from them saying has been escalated for processing as have a job which I need to start on 1st May. -Sent them another one on 13th march asking again how application was going as heard nothing -Funnily enough I had a reply back straight away saying that i am missing some documentation: "Certified evidence of your nursing qualification. Transcript of Training must display clinical and theoretical hours-Theory subjects should include: Anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and Cultural issues.-Clinical hours should include: Labour, community health, post natal, antenatal and gynaecology I sent all this originally when I 1st sent my application to them but the course manual doesnt state which clinical hours are in which area, and the modules do not specify Pharmacology or Anatomy. Does anyone have suggesting as to what I should do next. I qualified as a direct entry midwife 10 years ago, and my course leader has retired!! Thanks again Sian :arghh:

    Job offer and 457 visa

I didnt apply directly. We went to a "down under live" exhibition in Birmingham where WA health department were recruiting Nurses and Midwives from the UK. I filled out an application form and then they got in touch with me a couple of weeks later requesting my CV etc. And then at the Beginning of January I got an interview from Osborne Park. Try this website http://www.jobs.health.wa.gov.au/page.php?pageID=215 or look at this one http://www.health.wa.gov.au/home/ if not try agency work? Hope this helps.

    Job offer and 457 visa

Thankyou everyone for your replies! I emailed the hospital as suggested and it seems that i should have received an email with a job offer two weeks ago but the email address they had for me was wrong, so thank god I got in touch!!! Today I got a formal job offer from Osborne Park Hospital and I start on the 1st of May!! OMG. So any suggestions on suburbs to live around Osborne Park would be great?? My two children are 4yrs and 7 months!! In reply to coldtootsies: I havent got my APHRA registration through yet either but if you get a job they help it go through more quickly, so there is no harm in applying for jobs now, if you want!!

They told me on the phone that they would be contacting me again via email with details that I needed for the 457 visa, but have heard nothing since... The telephone interview was 2 weeks ago. The Hospital has contacted my references. The big question is should I worried?? Any advice would be great!! Thanks

    Help!! Notary public again

:arghh:Hi. Its me again!! I have just been told by a notary public that as my Birth and Marriage Certificates are Crown Copyright they cannot be photocopied, and therefore need to apply online via the GRO for further certified copies. Also said that my Degree Certificate would need to be verified by her as genuine. So I would need to give her written permission to contact the University records department to verify the document. Is this correct??? It sounds like a lot of hassle to me. I am applying for APHRA registration and going on a 457 visa. Please help!!!! Sian
