I don't think i've ever seen The Queen look so furious, having to read out that load of populist rubbish.

Us and them again, confrontational attitude with no useful input. Are these protesters also not members of the general public, or do you see them as separate to you because you would not mount a protest? If you do take part in a future Brexit protest, can people say that you would be "pi*&(^ off the general public"? Or does it only work in one direction with the obvious bias?

I'm surprised that the people who have no faith in the resolve of humanity are the exact same individuals on here who express the need for that same sort of faith in the need to carry out Brexit at any cost. They express an article of faith in Brexit that somebody "at the top" must sort it out for them, but for climate change they say that the same tactics are a waste of time? Go figure.

Some of the public, and mainly the ones that asked for something that was not possible but seek to blame others for their situation. Following the confirmatory people's vote on any deal that is agreed, it's only fair that Brexit Johnson has the opportunity to put his money where his mouth is. He's your man. Then an election.

well, you may have inadvertently answered the question that others are avoiding, but you are being more honest than they are. They would answer with a smilie because they are too afraid to use the words you do. It will be the first step to a united Ireland and the break up of the UK, which is one of the things the Brexiters said could not happen. That's just another minor detail to add to the pack of lies they've been sold but cannot deliver on.

It wont make much difference if it happens after the confirmatory people's vote, and if the country gets a better deal......won't that prove that they were right? If the confirmatory people's vote decides that Brexit was a false flag and the people have had a lucky escape.....won't they have saved the country? What the country really needs is better domestic politics and more educated electorate to deal with the challenges of the next 40 years, not the last 40.

If you wish to talk about Tony Blair and Iraq, start a new thread. You are off topic, and have still not explained why you posted that video, nor answered any of the points put to you about it. The rest of your post adds no useful information that hasn't already been debunked.

Johnson will cobble together the semblance of a deal, he absolutely cannot produce nothing after undermining the country for the last 3 years. I think he's learned a predictable lesson over the last 3 weeks, so he will need to concede more ground and give something away in order to solve the backstop. That may change the balance and could make it worse than May's deal. That would be the doomsday scenario that proves that Brexit is impossible, for anybody that has a potential for a better future. Should the country be held hostage by those who are not putting the interests of the next generation first?

and the last GE was in 2017. I don't think there's a sane person left who doesn't realise there has to be a public confirmation on what the actual Brexit deal might be, when it is finalised. Once the people have endorsed it, Parliament will endorse it. Then a General Election to choose the party and Prime Minister to lead us into the next stage, actually negotiating the future FTA's throughout the transition period. It's actually really really simple.

They were heading the same way but were horrified at the social breakdown in the UK and the potential for societal fragmentation. I studied this when i saw that a lot of the old British coal mining union people emigrated to Australia after being smashed by Thatcher, and have done pretty well since. The determination of the Australian Government and the Unions to avoid the British situation was paramount, so the Unions saw what had happened in the UK and decided to temper their aggression in case they were destroyed, and the Government took a more conciliatory and mature approach to reform....which was communicated well to the public...."You need to feel some pain in order to protect what you hold dear or we could end up in the same mess". Now you have an Aussie public that begrudgingly pays the taxes and fees required to maintain the quality of living, Unions that keep wages higher than in other countries but are nothing like the Scargillesque figures of 1980's UK, and an extremely wealthy economy as a result. You can only project about 40 years into the future, but it has been an amazing success in comparison. The next 40 years will be more difficult.

unless there is a referendum first, to avoid that very thing. This was the exact subject of the Tony Blair video you posted, but then failed to explore in preference to calling him a snake and a war criminal. No wonder you miss the important stuff all the time ! There is no point in having a GE if people like you are going to use it as a Brexit protest vote. You will ignore the myriad of details in all election manifestos to make it a single issue election. As Brexit is hung, drawn and quartered across all political parties, it makes the result of a GE nonsense whichever party wins...because it will not progress ANYTHING.. It makes perfect sense to have a Brexit referendum first to allow people to get these ghastly chips off their shoulders which are clouding the country. Then have a GE when people can actually look at education, health, economy, infrastructure, from the baseline of KNOWING what the Brexit outcome is, thus making a political choice possible. That is the only sensible and logical course of action now.

    Earning a secondary (passive) income

Many people specifically invest in shares that produce good dividends a few times a year, as opposed to those which are targetted to grab the capital gain in the share price. The more you invest over time, you can use the dividends as passive income to reduce or replace the 9-5 working hours.

because a bloke with an agenda posts a video and makes no opinion on the video he posts, but only posts it to insult the person appearing in it. It's this sort of ignorance that needs calling out, and it is not rude to say so if you want a better standard of discourse than the absolute tripe that some people have managed to get through life by avoiding.

He makes very valid points in general. Just a pity that people are unwilling to listen to what he says anymore, because he's usually correct. When you see the lightweight politicians around today, it makes you wonder whether conventional politics are finished for this generation until there is a reset and rebirth.

to be fair to Bunbruy, one of the concessions would be to let everybody think they've gained a victory. As long as it puts them back in their boxes for the next 40 years, I'm past caring.

be funny if they vote this one down as well. What nobody seems to have remembered is that the backstop was used as the main reason for the impasse, but a lot of MP's would not have voted for it anyway because of other problems, least of all the ERG. If this one is a stinker as well, they may still try and go for a 2nd referendum but with all the facts on the table this time.

It is for you. You said we were leaving with no deal and would walk away, the rest of us said we couldn't. It remains to be seen how bad the concession has had to be.
