Hi,
I can't help much, I'm afraid, but I will be keeping an eye on this thread! I've been in WA for a year, and now the children are settled I really need to work, and am about to register with WACOT too. I'm in the same position - taught for 15 yrs (with breaks to have children), but all in UK, and as I understand it, we have to register as Provisional. I think that experience is taken into account as far as pay goes. From what I've read I think some form of mentoring will take place, which does kind of make sense considering the system is different, but then it does also get my back up just a tiny bit!!
Good luck with it all!
