Yes, I enrolled my boys from the UK but my husband was in Perth already and dropped the forms off. I arrived with the kids a few weeks later, let them get over the jet lag for a week, then took them in.

Hi, did your husband find something? My husband also has a job in Perth - me and the kids hope to follow on in a few months from the UK. He is having trouble finding a place at such short notice as we are here validating and ate due to fly home tomorrow night!

My husband is currently in Perth, has a job he can start this week but needs a room to rent or he'll have to fly back to the UK tomorrow night (return flight from validation trip). We have tried all week to get somewhere half decent, with no luck.

Thanks for your reply, I have to admit that I really feel the cold, even on holiday. I can't decide between a place quite near the beach or a place with the pool. It would be great if the pool was warm enough but if it was cold and the kids either insisted on going in or were upset that they couldn't, it might not be so great. Hmmm....
