Hi all, Has anyone completed their WA sponsorship? I've put in my EOI and just need to know how much detail to go into for WA sponsorship when stating how much research i've done as don't want it to be rejected. Is $39k liquid funds & $8k relocation costs sufficient? Thanks Mark

Cheers for reply. Yeah it's such a pain as got no other recognised skills hence new career needed. My advice to you....get with a nurse! Better still a doctor and become a man of leisure.

Hi all, Love this site...get loads of good advice! I'm currently in middle of getting my visa(190) as girlfriend is a nurse. I'm a fire-fighter in the uk and realise I can't just transfer into WA fire service but need to know what any other fire-fighters have done? Is it possible to work on oil rigs as FF? Or any other related industry? Otherwise it's starting a new career path and I'm not sure what that can be. Any short term courses I could do to get work in Perth? Suggestions very welcome. Hi all, Just after some advise of which is better place to visit. W are after some nightlife and a vibrant feel. We are emigrating to Perth in 2 years and this is a reccy trip/holiday. We're staying in CBD for few days then just need to decide which other 2 possible places to stay in. We're both 30 with no kids so wouldnt want anything too quiet. Any ideas as which is best and more lively?? Cheers Mark
