Hi Did you go ahead and get the medicals then? We are already over the 28 day time period they gave us to have these done because I feel really unconfortable about spending all that money before they confirm we have enough points.

Hi They have requested proof of qualifications (already uploaded when application submitted initially), evidence of 24 months work exp (ACS already given positive assessment for 6 years relevant work experience!!) plus payslips and said that we had that "you have not indicated that wish to be considered for specific emplyoment" when clearly we did or we would not have done a ACS RPL skills assessment for Business Analyst - I really don't understand this. How can they ask for medicals if they think we are 5 points short?!

Hi:confused: Can anyone tell me why our Co would ask for medicals and police checks but in the same email say we are currently 5 points short and need to submit more supporting docs re husband's work experience? I thought medicals and police checks were only requested at the final stage when all other criteria had been met? We have actually also already passed the ACS RPL route and uploaded the same docs - I suppose the CO could have made a mistake in requesting this again but I have cancelled our medicals anyway until we get a reply from the CO - I can't risk spending £750 on medicals if we really are still 5 points short. We have emailed the CO querying all this but they have not yet replied - anyone experinced this in the meantime? Many thanks

Hi:confused: I'd be very grateful if anyone could help with this query please. We have a CO and medicals have been requested - the email says to 'respond within 28 days' - does this mean the medicals actually have to be done within 28 days or is it ok to have just booked them if this will be beyond the 28 day deadline? I have tried twice now to book with Medimigration in Manchester but the receptionist says she can't do this on the info I am providing =the TRN and a HAPid for each of us - what else can we possibly provide?? Hoping for a speedy response please from someone who understands all of this! Many thanks

Hi just being cheeky and hoping you will get some useful replies as we also have to book our medicals and Manchester is the closest. Unfortunately we have to pay ourselves (family of 5!!). We need to have them done in the next two weeks - any useful advice please?

Hi I don't know about nurses but we submitted 175 app.on line on 30th January and have been allocated a CO and have been asked for medicals and police checks to be provided within 28 days (so not quite four months) - was expecting it to take much longer than this!

Hi I think their timelines are pretty flexible - my husband submitted his last October and we sat back to wait but a positive result came back just 10 days later!! Good luck with yours PS it took him months to put it all together!

Hi I presume all applicants within a family have to validate their visa including dependent children within this time frame? I have searched and searched the DIAC website for details but am no wiser Many thanks
